Jims right there was a very good post by al's worms on this subject not to long ago. do a search for als worms. Bake them at a very low temp. it will pull the oils out and make the baits shiney again. its good for a few hundred pours and I believe you can bake them upto 3 or 4 times.

Actually thats not entirely true, I have sent an email or 2 Last week week before. and was going to call you monday but something happened over the weekend and I got tied up it in. I was supose to call you monday. April gave me your number again this morning and demanded I call you. I been on the phone ever since. One side of your mold is done, the other side is not was suppose to be this sunday and shipped monday. Kajan all I can say is WOW very very impressive

I fish alot of jigs and I like to throw them in heavy brush, someone years ao showed me a trick about taking a small work breaking it off and texas rigging it on the hook to act as a weed guard. works pretty good, then I switched and started fishing 1oz and 3/4oz jigs only the weight of the jig and that worm didnt really work to well. so i made a small little 2piece mold thats perfectly round just for that, I use hard plastic its 4" long and I can break off or cut to anysize jig I need. a buddy of mine who is a tackle whore and buys all his stuff from japan gave me a pack of those worms a year or 2 ago and they worked pretty good. now since I am fishing tubes this year and was wondering how to hook them better and keep them weedless that just gave me the idea to use that plug again Thanks. On tubes and I havent fished them that much I like the fully exposed hook with the weight in the tube instead of outside. I tried just skin hooking the point but it doesnt work that well. cool post thanks. Delw

I got screwed by this guy bob got screwed by this guy yum baits got screwed by this guy Thats why in this part of the country he is known as Fast Freddie. I was warned and ignored it and after a little over a week I kicked him out of my shop, I warned Bobby , he ignored it and spent lots of time with him then got the same BS. YUM had Absolutely no clue and got suckered. he is not the only one, there is one more making his rounds just like FF, Matter of fact I got a letter from his lawyer just 2 weeks to cease and desist on molds that you guys been buying since 2001 LMAO, seem he thinks he can patent the bait right now over the last 6 months on some new idea he came up with. unfortunatly for him it was my stik bait and a few other of my molds, LMAO what a Dumbass. so I get a letter from him/and his lawyer putting me on notice. I would post my reply to his letter but the auto sensor would take out pretty much every word I used. Funny thing I haven't heard from either one of them since I faxed my reply to his lawyer. if his lawyer sends me a reply I will scan his first letter my reply and his reply to that. I can guarentee you guys would be laughling for weeks. The fishing business is full of alot of fools and crooks, just got to watch out for which ones they are.

Bob designed it, sold them, some guy bought them after the fact then sold the design to Yum. Unbenounced to Bob. Pryrex is the best, Anchor works just as good, been using anchor for years, anything else I have no experiance on and can't give you input

always start as cheap as you can as you might not like doing it and you tied up a bunch of money insomething thats going to sit in the closet. for tubes its as simple as getting a #2 pencil and dipping it in plastic 2-4 times. thats the easiest and cheapest way to start.

Thats the best way to do it, I use a tooth pic. being the dots are thin and small the plastic being poured into the mold from the top will laminate to the dots very easy and in most cases you wont have bumps they will just blend in very nice. I assume you are talking about a Alum mold? I dont know if pop or silicon would work I never tried it on those.

there is no all around design, every swimbait has its purpose and works, no matter how ugly or how pretty it looks. while the shape and length of the tail make a difference you forgot that the hardness of the plastic makes a difference in the action as well. for example take a baby "E" bait and pour it with soft plastic med plastic and hard plastic. you will get three different tail vibrations. then add in the retrieve speed and you get a different action. you want to real it in very slow pour softplastic you will get a nice swimming tail action reel it in fast it will shake so much it may become unstable and not run true, so you pour a tad harder. there are too many varibles in softplastic baits that have absolutely nothing to do with the bait design its self it is more in reel speed and type of plastic you use. the question you ask is very hard to answer and its more of personal preference not to mention in how you rig it, a good example of this is the Bass trix. put it on a jig head, weighted hook, just hook it, c-rig it dropshot it etc etc. they all catch fish

Use pearl powder (its white) but very very little, pretty much all of the zoom superfluke have pearl powder in them. even there pink one has pearl powder in it.( I have a few bags of the pink ones) Just remember to use very very little in a 1/4 cup just use what you can scoop up with a jewlers screw driver on the tip thats more than enough. I have a bag of there watermellon ones also and it seems to have a slight tint of pearl powder. this maybe be just from changing colors on there production line causes its a minute amount.

Glitters come in sizes from .004(even smaller) -.250, the most common ones used are .008 .015 .035 .040 .062 .125. then there are string glitters as well check with different dealers there might be one your looking for. with out a size to reference it off of, it would be hard for someone to tell you what the next size is

I didnt think you were bad mouthing didnt even cross my mind.I have noticed that lots of guys don't mix there colors very well. you have to mix them 10 times more than plastic. Kinda a good reminder for people who dont pour that much or are new.as far as the green.its just light watermelon with a drop or 2 of black melon to darken it up(1/4 cup of plastic) red and green glitter.the pic shows it a tad darker due to the reflection of the molds

I do, in my microwave and run it for 10-15 seconds, if you leave it in there much longer the nuts will get hot and burn through the plastic container. its also best if your shake it before putting it in, this way the color will take the shineyness out of the nuts and keep it from arcing. Is the reflectability of something in the microwave that will make it arc not just because its metal.

I haven't had good luck with the color cook book either, but it does get me very close. whats very important in colors is that you mix the crap out of them( no matter who's you use), put 2 1/4-20 nuts in them or 2 small round dropshot weights and shake the heck out of them. just before you put it into your plastic. everyone (dealers) pretty much get there colors at the same place(wholesaler), how ever keep in mind for example that there are over 20 shades of red 20 shades of green etc. we also tend to mix out own colors from time to time and call it amber for example. however the pigments put into amber may differ from what the other dealer uses to mix amber. thats why one persons amber or green pumpkin or water mellon etc differs from a different brand. Blues, certain browns and floresant colors tend to settle faster then most colors as the pigments are heavier. white is a very heavy pigment it will settle with in a few mins after shaking it. the other thing to keep in mind is if you add salt your color will be no were near close to what the color book says. even if the color book says added 1/8 cup salt. if you don't add the exact same amount from the exact same type of salt you will get a completely different color. for example adding 1/8 cup a table salt will be completely different than adding 1/8 cup of table salt that is ground in a blender. on flo colors and some heavy settleing colors you can nuke it for a few seconds( just to warm it up) and the pigments will disburse better when shaking it up. Methiolate is one that hard settles like a brike on the bottom and mixs better when warm.

Those were my favorite and only have 4 left, only place I have found them is at walmart years ago, they were selling for 1 buck each and I bought like 200 bucks worth of risto raps. 2 what video camera did you use.

one of the best videos I have seen done was by erik and crew over at the austinbassfishing board the one on amistad is Fantastic plus the song rocks if your into that and there newest one on falcon is good to. if I recall you ordered it on a late friday night but that wasnt good enough for you I believe we shipped that out on a tuesday I doubt it was on that monday. anyway there was one reason why we delayed it one day it was because you left a pretty nasty msg as to why you didnt get it on monday morning,(even after I told you UPS doesnt deliever on weekends) so I held off one day till I could get ahold of you on the phone. then once it was shipped you again left a nasty msg on the phone Again and when I talked to you it seemed like everythign was understood then a post on the board plus als pm and another nasty phone msg, and thats when I said screw it your done dude. I am pretty sure we mailed it to you in 2 business days. I can pull up the info if you like as it would be no big deal to me, I dont know the PW to UPS but I can ask April for it. your choice however you have to admit, me telling you on your bs post( your very first post no less) you weren't going to get the order was a true classic, bet you never bad mouthed another company online again after that either. but you sure have gotten some mileage out of the del-mart one come on jerry pull that post out of the archives lets put some truth to this bs. Besides I need to make sure my dates were close. al didnt mention about the coloring I believe he mentioned about the worm orders maybe that is a new one? and you doing it to some other guys online(ebay) as well. BTW read everyone of my post I highly doubt you will find any that promotes my product. I have been on TU since the begining and the board before this one was even started. if there is its a definate screw up on my part, cause I don't Promote my stuff on My own fishing board or any other board I visit.
