Nitrochad Lee pots work good , however you don't use salt in them( unless you modify the spout) and you need to stir to keep the glitter consistant. They have there place. its mainly for non salted baits. they will keep the right temp. however you need to find the sweet spot, easy to clean up using a wire brush on a drill motor. for one piece molds usually best to start at one end and move the mold.

the best way is in the oven second best way is on a stove third is the microwave your plastic will cook better in the 1st 2 methods, your colors will be brighter and clearer. How ever most people pick speed over best results, especially guys Delw

bbc that design was made to swim slowly, if you reel it in to fast you will get it to spin, Ive found this out with a lot of swimbait molds I have been working on lately. adding extra weight to the bottom will help but very very little to the point were you don't notice it for that bait I would put a small tube through the nose to about a 1/4 of the way on just sticking out the bottom. it will go at an angle between the tub and the head cut a slit in it and put in a weight. then string your line through the tube and tie a treble hook onto it ( bottom of the bait) this should give you more speed Delw

add just a touch of white pearl powder to it, and I mean a very very little, like a pin head in 1/2 cup

gloomisman for a half cup no salt 18-20 drops, the nightcrawler settles very fast so make sure you mix the color bottle very well, drop a few 1/4-20 nuts in it to help it mix. the about post should be 45 for 1/2 cup with salt not 1 cup Like I stated with salt.

One inch tall is fine just pop a 1/2 hole in it then offset the , of course bigger is better but it will do the trick. don't forget if your paddle is very thin adding a very big hole to it will make the paddle break or bend at the thinest points. you can get real fancy with paddles and make them mix extreamly well just by adding a series of holes in different locations on each paddle. its one of those things were you need to watch the paddle and the plastic move, it might be best to take clear plastic with the salt and add some black fleck and watch how the black fleck moves around. that will tell you how it will mix.if black fleck stays on the edge or the bottom you can adjust to that. what ever you do dont bend the bottom or top tips of the paddles as it will put to much strain on the end play of the motor. no you need to drill one big hole in each paddle of the stirrer but they need to be staggered for each paddle one high one low. the best way to had a mixer is to have the paddle less than 1/2" from every edge, including the bottom. even though your filling the mold wether touching the sides or not when its full it touches the sides, when it starts to cool the weight of the salt pulls down, hence pullling your plastic that was already on the side towards the middle. the plastic that is on the side when it hits the alum pretty much sets( gets colder ) even if the molds are hot. the middle of the bait is still soft.

I'll try to explain it one more time hopefully better this time what is happening is that you have more salt per plastic towards the bottom of the pot salt settles no mater how much you stir it. because your mold is hot and your plastic is hot the plastic will take longer to cool that allows the salt to settle faster to the bottom of the mold. When this happens ,the plastic that is sticking to the side orginally when the mold is filled is being pulled as the salt settles to the bottom, basically because the mold is hot the salt will settle pulling the plastic from the side causing dents. hope that explains it better. the hotter the plastic the more it shrinks

The only possible way for that to happen would be not keeping the top always filled or covering that hole

Its caused by shrinking plastic and or the salt settling, stick bait molds ( no matter who;'s they are)were not designed for pressure pots, if your using any pressure I would turn it off and let it free flow

Mind games are easily played on the internet, especially when you tell the truth. Garvin the ones out here in the west are the cheapest tourny anglers I know. I know guys that drive 1 hour out of there way to save 50 cents ona bag of robo worms and they just by one pack. That being said I fish a lot of tournys here in az and know a tons of people, they all expect something for free, if they cant get it at a discount then they wont buy it. only about 5% of the guys that I know will pay full price with out asking for a discount. my buddies are always going into the tackle shops expecting a deal. 40k truck 50 k boat and wont spend a extra dollar on a few packs of worms but will drive 30 miles in a gas guzzler to save .50 cents kinda funny.

Just make sure you dont sell them too cheap. their is now reason for someone to sell senkos for 1/2 or less the cost of the orgs. way way to many people try to undercut so they get more sales. but the problem is when all is said and done you dont make enough to cover your plastic so why do it for free. Nova, we have a few guys like that here too, and they are pretty good friends of mine. my favorite thing to do is fish behind them with the same bait and all I have to do is catch one and they are done for the day. we have one guy that comes up and always ask how you did, like the first 2 hours in the am, we usually say we have been culling all morning. one time just for the heck of it I caught a small keeper and said crap I caught like 30 of these already and tossed it back. they guy about died cause I didnt check it to my other fish. he was done for the day. we beat him and got a check with 3 fish( we didnt have any in the live well at that time) that forth fish would have put us 2 places higher LOL
