olive green,orange, pearl, black, gold interference, Pearl the whole bait first, green olive shoulders and back black splotches along the lateral line, gold interference scale pattern over back and shoulders down to black lateral line splotches and finally touch of orange or red on the throat

Hey anybody know what happened to the site. The owner used to hang here on occasion went to the site and it says that the domain expired??

Guys here is some info that was passed along here some time ago, if you take a flat finish bait and put it in the water it becomes glossy!! This came from Tim Hughes along time ago. Tried it and he was absolutely right!! Its a gimmick for the fisherman not the fish. The fade is the real deal as if you have ever seen a sunfish that resides in deep water the coloring is almost nonexistant.

I don't know of any bass boat that is finished with Poly, maybe an old wooden boat but modern bass boats are finished with an epoxy gel coat(thixotropic polyester coating)

Scoop, That bait is sweet. I love the shape of it!! Paint job is great as well. You know what they say "Flash catches the fisherman, a great bait catches the fish!!"

He does not want mine, he wants the originals that Pete Reynolds made. I purchased some of the originals for $55.00 each from an estate sale had to dissect a couple to see what made them tick

colors needed: Olive,black,pearl,inference gold chameleon or interference gold, dark forest green Spray the entire body with pearl, spray olive on shoulders and back, blend dark forest green with the olive back paying special attention to the back area, use a stencil to spray out the black centerline and small black dots on the belly and back area. Cover the bait with netting and scale the back and sides with with the gold interference a couple of times. You can put a gill plate on the side as well depends upon your preference These are a couple that I did for a client on Zoom Sweet Peas

How bad are the fumes from this stuff??

I had some free time during Christmas week and I was tired of making the same old shallow running baits, Kinda like eating hamburgers everyday after awhile a steak looks pretty inviting. I made up about 30 each of the deep runners(Blazer remake and Deep Smoker) and during the course of the year when I am painting baits for customers I will throw a couple of each in the mix so I can have some for myself. I don't know about you guys but I rarely have more than a couple of my baits in the tackle box because I am always giving them away to friends. Happy New Year to All!! And please be safe!!!!!!
