  1. Works fine under a topcoat, use dark and lighter colors for cool effects. I paint some saltwater plugs with colors such as pearl blue over silver or olive/white and then fog the chameleon gold over the color meeting area and it makes some cool effects!

    Well I've got some samples of several coming, some should be here today so you lnow where I'll be tonite I'll give a review after I use some and test them out this weekend.

    In search of the best clearcoat for saltwater lures....tried em all and never happy. Epoxies take too long to dry....messy.....Auto 2 part clearcoat doesn't hold up to bluefish....neither does Envirotex etc. Has anyone ever tried any of the newer aliphatic urethane paints? If so hows it work? They are advertised as being rock hard but soft enough to take a 4mm dent without cracking. I ordered some samples today to try but curious if anyone else has used them yet?
