  6. Matt, I have to agree on the notion that swimbaits are the magical answer. Many have taken advantage of the big tournament wins supposedly singlehandedly won with a 5 or 6" swimbait. After giving swimbaits a good try all year I've found that they with catch fish of all sizes, my biggest this year did come off a swimbait though. You have to really know about the way baits are manufactuered to understand why some are more expensive and others are cheaper. A true hollow body swimbait will swim with much more action than one that is 3/4 hollow from the head to near the tail. Plastic softness is also a factor, the softer it is the slower you can retrieve it.
  7. My fishing partner with one of a few nice smallies we dropshotted of steep bluff walls.
  8. A prototype for next seasons line up. 4" long versitile enough for dropshot, mini jerkshad or vertical jigging. It's a hollow body so it will look great on a drop shot rig.

    Swimbait Hawg

This is the best year I've had for catching bass over 5 pounds (in Canada that's that decent bass) Swimbaits are not a magic bait, but they do have many applications to catch huge bass.
  10. Neat design, could be an alien marital aid if the fish don't bite.
  11. Polypropelyne bags are clear and will not take on the colour of your baits as quickly. They do not let oxygen in or out, scents are trapped inside. The less expensive version is made of polyethelyne and is less clear and is oxygen permiable. If your planning on selling in stores, the polypro are more attractive for display. Making your own with a heat sealer is even cheaper, I think ?
  12. Ed, great tip on the Paratherm ! here's the website link Heat Transfer Fluids
