The Crucial is a great rod. Definately fish's better than more expensive rods. Curado E7 reel with that?

I have it, its a good color if you keep it simple and don't try to load too much flake in it.

The blue flake can be discoloring the GP.....add a drop or two of rootbeer or brown. Put the blue flake in just before you are ready to pour.

I beleive you can't use that material to melt down. It is not the type of plastic we use.

Fat Body Wing Hog to the new Flappin Bug? I have the hog, I like it but I think the main craw legs are a little too thin. It will work but I wish they were cut a little deeper. The Bug, looks like the claws are angled differently so I'm wondering if they are a different thickness too.....any help appreciated.

Jim, I started my company based on using the baits in my arsenal first...originally it was jigs and it naturally progressed to chunks and then plastics. This way I always shot to build the best quality and obviously I would only get a mold in which I would actually use the bait. This saved me a lot of indecision and waste. I only carry what I would use. With these injection molds where your dropping 150 to 500 dollars a pop, you need to be certain that this style is going to be a seller. You and I think a lot alike on this topic, there are some seductive looking molds out there but I have refrained because if they do not sell, I may not even use them so they would be a total bust for me. I'm kind of in a dilemna right now about a certain Dels mold and two from Bass Tackle. I could see me using all three of them and they are all kinda close in style.....its a matter of which I would prefer. I guess thats one way to make the decision.

I switched my operation over to injection molding and have 2 molds left that I'd like to sell. The first is a 5.5" Dels Pointy Tail Stick, 4 Cav's- 50.00 shipped the other is a Bob's 3.75" BuzzFrog, 2 Cav's-65.00 shipped both molds are in excellent shape. I take paypal Would consider trades for Bears Kodiak Craws any size but I'd like a 5" most, BassTackle 2.75 Craw Chunk 4 cav and 3" Craw Chunk 4 cav. or Big Bite Craw or a Dels 4" CL Craw mold 4 Cav......I could pay cash to even it out.

I'd guess it would cost around 1K for that many cav's. What do you mean rights to the mold? Are you talking about the maker not duplicating it for anyone else or a patent? Two very different things but it stops nobody from copying your worm and having someone else make a mold of it.

I think the fact that shimano bought Loomis is the reason why we are seeing so many good shimano rods. I used to own 22 Helium LTA's and LTX's.....I might have 3 or 4 now but I changed over to Cumaras and Crucials.....can't beat the rods action, features and warrantee.

Not a big fan of either company but I would go with Loomis over SC.

Just remember if you plan on using this and adding it to hot plastic while you pour.....you need to make sure there is no water at all in it or it is going to bubble and splatter. This is why you cook with only oil based scents.

Lurecraft makes a good Shrimp oil that I've used.....stinks alot.

Wow, I actually had the same thing happen to me about a month ago...but he made it right....same thing though, he sent it twice, it never got here then ultimately it did.

I'm pretty new to injecting but I've had success laminating baits and I've also made some killer tubes in Cal. 420 and Okeechobee craw. I suggest if you are injecting you take a look at those Bear youtube links.

Do it the right way, you can get a 4 cav. alum. mold for about 60.00, save and get it right the first time.
