  1. I cannot remember where I bought it.
  2. I had a chance to try the mold. It shoots easily. It makes pretty good laminates. Here is my version of coppertruse.
  3. They ship stuff all over the country.
  4. I didn’t see the brand but I did see a dual injector on the shelf at Zeiners in Wichita Kansas Monday afternoon.
  5. Thanks a bunch. Those baits look great. You have perfectly answered my question. I’m heading for Zeiners tomorrow to pick one up and see what else they have.
  6. I’ve read everything that I can find and guys were having mixed results using high temp paint as a sealer. I am thinking a light coat of Bondo fiberglass resin might work. I have sealed some homemade molds for a friend and it worked but I have never tried it on a metal mold. Have any of you used it?
  7. Do you have this mold? Does it shoot shiny or dull baits? Have you shot laminates with it? Les Young put me on it but he hasn’t used his yet.
  8. There is a second number for Rupert Jenkins on their site. Have you tried it?
  9. I’ve never been able to get the same results when adding salt. I always have to add more colorant even then for me matching color with salt is iffy.
  10. Mark the social distancing is the easy part. I think that I may have invented it.
  11. It’s about a 4 hour drive for me. I just got my second Pfizer Covid shot. A trip to anywhere is looking good to me. I think I could spend hours looking around and buying stuff.
  12. I have ordered a few items from them. I am thinking about driving to Wichita and having a look see. Have any of you guys ever been there?
  13. I use Calhoun medium. My baits aren’t fragile. I’m not sure why you are concerned with that. The cost factor is so low plus you can remelt and repour so there isn’t much waste.
  14. Some guys are just that way. It is inexplicable.
  15. That is how I do it. I’ve never thought of them as spacer beads.
  16. I would love to see a bait with those beads. I can’t even imagine what you guys are doing.
  17. Are you talking about inline spinners? I use spacer sleves on my regular spinner baits.
  18. You might find something at Zeinners.
  19. How about pics of the molds?
  20. Thanks guys. I believe you are spot on Frank. The one I want to laminate is not a top pour. I get a swirly mess with my blending block. Canga that is what I am looking for. However, it is a bit pricey as I am getting ready to dump some cash on a Livescope setup. RPM and Mark can you post some mold and maybe bait pics so I will have a better understanding of your processes?
  21. My swim bait molds are side to side and I can’t get them to laminate. I have searched high and low for one that has back and belly so I can use a laminate plate. Does such a mold exist?
  22. I use the L3052 all the time in 4/0 and 5/0. It has replaced Mustad hooks for me. Shorty’s carries them in 1/0 to 6/0.
  23. How about the people who own this site? LPO
