  1. I haven't had trouble with them but don't really care for them so I bought Nor Por silicone cups. I can't keep them hot like Frank does but I only pour small batches.
  2. LPOL is one of the places that I buy from. I also buy from Lurecraft, Bait Junkies, Bears Baits, Barlows, and Janns Netcraft.
  3. I used to buy mine from Battlefield Wire but the closed down. I just found a guy who has a bunch which he bought while they were still open. If you are familiar with them and want any, I can put you in touch with him. He gets $3 each for them.
  4. Cadman and smalljaw both make jigs. I'll bet one of both have that mold.
  5. looks like an Arke to me
  6. I used the cylindrical glass like pyrex. They are less than 2" in diameter and about 3" tall.
  7. Scott I haven't dipped since I bought some injection molds. When I did I used several different types of rods in different sizes, phillips screw drivers, dowel rods, fiber glass rods, etc. The all will work. I always oiled them first to get the tubes off easier.
  8. I've cleaned baits with ketchup.
  9. Les those that Donnie posted on the other site are great wires. They are what I used till the company closed.
  10. Go up to BROWSE . It is in a list that will pop down.
  11. #1 culprit is tire pressure I had the same issue and checked axle, checked alignment, etc. Maintaining max recommended tire pressure cured it.
  12. Dale the James River to which I was referring is one of the Table Rock Lake tributaries here in MO where bobv and I both live. Sorry.
  13. Sometimes, but with limited results except for specs when the get on the James river roll offs.
  14. No nothing between them and nothing larger than 1/4. This is the ball jig mold that I use for my white bass hair jigs. To get exactly what you want you may need to contact Cadman since smalljaw didn't seem to have what you are hunting. This is what the jig head looks like in a 1/16 oz FnF jig.
  15. bobv I checked my molds and don't have any 3/16. I do have a 1/4 that will take a 90# surflon braided/coated cable which I use in my tube jigs. It doesn't have a lead collar on it. I also checked and have a lot of #1 hooks. Let me know if I can help you with them.
  16. I'll check my molds and see what I have that might work. I'll get back to you hopefully tomorrow.
  17. Was that at Mutton Creek when I was getting the Chief and Card signs for my son in law? Depending on how many jigs you want, what size and type of hook and the head weight I may be able to fix you up. Let me know.
  18. What kind of molds do you own? You may be able to modify them to take a wire guard. What size wire are you thinking? Where in MO are you located?
  19. I stick with the Lee pot for everything except jigging spoons. I can't get the lead hot enough in the Lee pot to pour them so I use a cast iron pot and my fish cooker.
  20. I have the ones from Bear's. They do a good job. I've been using them for 3 or 4 years.
  21. Mark we don't have any vegetation in our lakes. Most have very little standing timber. Man made brush cover is what we mostly have. BTW I did blind sow a 6.5 a couple of years ago on a Ned but I was using a #2 hook instead of a #4. (I'm not a purist and will go up to 3/0 on some of them.)
  22. Around here the purist Ned guys use an itty bitty #4 crappie hook on a 1/16 oz head. It is so small it hardly gets hung up.
