  1. Nice video. You might want to get some Frankfort Arsenal drop out spray. You can treat the whole mold instead of using the candle and it will last for a long time.
  2. I have been using Calhoun M but ordered a 5 gal pail from Bait Junkies. Can I mix them together or just use up the Calhoun's and get new gallon jugs?
  3. Thanks Curt. Great job as always.
  4. When I get paint in the eyelet I use my Popsnagger to clean the paint out.
  5. The copper coupler works well. Be sure to buy at least 10 because those little suckers get very hot.

    New Mold

I modify my molds without using a dremel tool. I am leaving this am on a 2 week fishing trip but will be glad to discuss it with you when I get back home. If you are interested send me a pm.
  7. Sorry, I was brain dead and didn't see it in the thread topic.
  8. Whose mold are you talking about? I have Bear's tube molds and they shoot great.

    Wire Guard

I use 90# sevelon or surflon coated cable.
  10. On Table Rock, Stockton, and Pomme de Terre, white with a bit of chartreuse or red along with a Zoom swimming chunk have been the best for me.
  11. I use a divided pyrex cup for swirls.
  12. Dale Greist at Nixa Mo does my rod work. I don't have his number right now but I can get it if you are interested.
  13. I used to use cattle catheter injectors. I modified them to fit my home made molds. They worked but were not safe to use very long.
  14. I do in the winter but my garage isn't air conditioned so they don't need it in summer at my place.
  15. Thanks but I have already ordered 100 #2 so I think I'll be good for a long time.
  16. CLR might help with the rust. Acetone is my go to cleaner for anything that won't melt.
  17. Thanks fellows. I thought the 2 might be a better size but wanted to check before ordering.
  18. I am looking for some ball bearing swivels and some are for sale on this site. They are #2 and #3. Which size would be the best for tandem spinnerbaits. My brain is on vacation and I feel that they may be too small but can't really decide. So Cadman or smalljaw I know you guys will have the answer if some of the others don't. Thanks in advance.
  19. I have a guy who helps me pour and that has really speeded up things and made the job easier.
  20. My large swing jig mold only goes to 1 1/4. You could get one of them and drill out the cavities to make them the way you want.
  21. I have tube molds and don't use salt when I pour. Some of mine float and some don't. I have no idea why. I use Calhoun's medium plastisol.
  22. I use JB weld. I fill the cavity then start drilling and pouring until I get what I want. If I go too deep, I put JB back in the cavity and start drilling again. I have one mold that has poured several thousand heads and the JB is still holding on.
