I position my adapter in the mold. I fill, evacuate, and refill one injector. I leave it in the cup and do the same to the other one. Then I pull them out and put them together and move them to the adapter. Stick them in and inject. I leave a messy trail to the mold but haven't been able to stop the dripping.
As Frank shows in his video room temps will allow them to work. My garage is where i work and is unheated so stuff is in the 50s. I have an old hot plate that I put a griddle on and (warm up the molds and injectors). I use an infrared thermometer and monitor the items. I try to keep them between 75 and 100°. If one gets a bit hot I pull it off because I like to get several injections before the molds get too hot to open and handle with bare hands.
