It is a deal if you want it. I just called in the order and they added an excise tax so the total is $129. I'll let you have half of them for $64.50 and ship them to you at my expense.
I am needing some 4/0 Mustad 91768BLN and the best deal is on a 1000 hooks. I don't need more than 500 if that many. I'd like to find someone who would take the other 500 if possible.
I have an old spinnerbait mold that will only pour this time of year if I use a propane torch and heat the inside of it. I do it with the wire and hook in place. Otherwise I have to wait until July no matter what lead I am using.
I found that 12 g single strand electric wire does a pretty good jog in my fb mold. About a foot of it cut into 1" pieces made tons of pins. I can mold until my heart's content and pull the pins when I am done.
Like stated I have to reopen the holes after I paint and bake the heads but it just takes a few seconds on each head. It also makes it a lot easier to tie on the skirts with no wg on.
I have a mold that I want to use without the pins and have no weedguard. The lead runs out the bottom of the mold when I don't have the pins in. I only want a tempory substance. I have tried modeling clay and it melts.
What can I take a dab of and make a few jigs w/o weed guard or pin holes.
Thanks.
I just picked up one at Wally World that says 10-30 gallon. It is very quiet but doesn't seem to put out much air.
As soon as the silicone dries, I am hooking it up and trying it out.
I am finally getting around to building a fluid bed. I have searched and read many threads on the subject but have not been able to discern what size pump is best to get.
I also live in a small town and will probably have to drive to a larger one to buy the pump. Where would be a good place to buy such a pump?
Copper won't rust. I have been using the windings out of an old table saw motor for the last 10 years and still have several hundred more pieces to go.
I do prefer string tying them to wire though. It gives me much more control of just where I have the material when it is cinched down.
