I was able to get lead containers for radio active medicine through a hospital contact for free as well as a 4X8 sheet of drywall covered with lead.

I talked with the Living Rubber people this morning. The guy said that it is in production over seas and we should be able to ge all we want before October.

I use powder paint and then enamel for the eyes. The eyes don't stay on as good as I would like. SUGGESTIONS PLEASE.

Trollfish, That was very good advise. I just melted the babbitt down and poured 5 dozen spoons. Does babbitt tarnish like lead???

Trollfish, Thanks for the tip. I have a fish cooker, a castiron pot and a ladel. I am getting ready to try it this afternoon.

I am using a production pot. I have it on the highest setting. I have had it heating for over 2 hours and it still won't pour.

I received 8 lbs of Babbit as a gift and am trying to make spoons. I can get plumber's and printer's lead to pour but not babbit. What can I do????

Could you be a little more specific about Component Systems. I would like to know more about the eye machine.
