I found a great deal on mesh at Wal-Mart. They had soccer ball bags in the sporting goods section, on sale for $5.00 The bags fit about a dozen soccer balls. It looks like you get around 3 yards of mesh for $5.00 The holes are around one quarter of an inch in diameter. I found that stretching the mesh gives an interesting diamond shape to the holes.

Thanks Rick...I tried to pattern the lure's shape after the Lake Whitefish. I am working on another version that will have a scale pattern and a more realistic colour scheme. I will post a pic when I get it finished. Greg
