Does anyone use ceramic molds . Take modeling clay make a mold and have it fired with a glaze. I know it will take the heat. Your master would have to hard so it would not flaten out in the mold when you push clay around it . I took some garlic and mashed it up put it in some mineral oil and put it in the microwave . it smelled good . My daughter came home and walked in the door and said "what smells good"she loves to cook with garlic , my wife walks in the door and says" TOOOONY what are you doing with my stove. I did not know the whole house stunk until I went out side and came back in and got a good smell of my new scent. IT SMELLED UP THE HOUSE FOR 6 HOURS . NOW I KNOW WHAT MAKES A SKUNK HAPPY If it stinks up a house it has to stink up a bait. If any other people have made there own scent post the recipe . I can only make scent in the garage now and for ever.

I started tring different paint thiners and solvent to make a pink stripe on my swim bait and found some MEK methelelethelkeytone at Walmart in the plumbing department . This is clear for cleaning off pipe. So I started adding the same pigments that I pour plastics with to make a paint . It works for me . You can put it in baby food bottles or something smaller and use a cotton swap for a paint brush . Just smear it on . It drys pretty fast . It melts the surface a small amount so the pigment sticks . Hi I just made this mold yesterday and poured these today . This is the 5 th mold I made . It is geting dialed in . You fish this like a jerk bait . The tail swims like a snake is a "S" pattern . You barly have to move the bait to get the tail to move. Cought a pike on it the first time out . I made the mold out of silicone in the tube . I learned that on this site . When you hold the bait up to light the ribs jump right out . It weightis about 1 1/4 oz. so it can be fish on most bait caster rods Thanks Tony check out my other baits at www.tantrumlures.com

I read about this plaster of paris that you can pour soft metal in . So I thought it would be good for plastics . I searched the jewelry supply stores on the web and could not find anyone who sells it . If you know anything about this product let me know . This is a great site . If you pour crawdads this is the place to look at the colors. keep looking until you finf a button that says CONTENT thay will take you to the pictures . You can find crawdads from you state or from around the world . You will under stand why green /red flake works When you see a crawdad getting a new shell one is red the other is green . look for the blue bugs . I finally got some calhoun plastic and some color and poured my third bait . red magic markers turn orange the next day

This is a look at a different head design . I cast the baits out of tin , The profile is the same as a blugill . The skirt barb is up front . The skirt flairs out filling in the profile of a bait fish . The hook is now at the back of the skirt so you don't get many short strikes .The bait weighs 1/2 oz . The head design makes it track straight . The belly of the bait contacts more of the structure so you can feel the bottom.The head keeps the bait more snag proof when pulling it thru brush and grass Bass hit this bait hard they try to kill it .
