  1. Holy Gibberish, Batman! VY, could you translate this? The finished product looks beautiful.
  2. Shawn, you are truly the "Grand Pupah" of this board. I usually cringe at the "Kudos" post, but in this case, I'll make an wxception. What are the details of The swap and of the April thing? TIA Mike P
  3. Coley, you were an excellent student. Infact, you have qualified for your student teachers certificate. I'd like to think that we've both learned from this exersise. For you, you've become quite accomplished at mold making and casting foam and for me; , After 154 Emails, I've finally learned how to type!
  4. Dark Star. Check out these people for your supplies. Excellent service and prices, plus a full line of products. I am not affiliated with this company other than as a very satisfied customer. http://www.shopmaninc.com/products.html
  5. Here are 2 great places to learn how. http://www.tackleunderground.com/index.php?page=10&mode=article&k=26 http://www.tackleunderground.com/index.php?page=10&mode=article&k=24
  6. And wear eye protection. You may never need it but it only take one time for you to lose an eye. Do it in a well ventlated area (Outside is best) and remember, moisture and hot lead is not a good thing!

If you look at it at dollar per hour bases, Your better off heading over to Micky D's and applying for a job. Even if itonly took you 3 hrs and you got $20, that's not far from minimum wage.

I'm not saying this to be sarcastic, or facetious, but the lures have to produce. Carolina Chip hired a marketing firm to promote himself and contracted a Pro Angler to use his tackle as advetisement. You might want to talk to him. JMHO http://carolinachip.home.comcast.net/Carolina_Chips.htm
  9. How do you attach pictures that are in your computer to PM's? I can do it with posts but don't see the option in PM mode. TIA MikeP
  10. Just my 2 cents, but I'll put my disolved plastic concoction against anything. Plus, aside from sealing and waterproofing, it gives a great platform to paint on.

    Hi

Welcome, There's always room for another great mind! Now, let's see your stuff!
  12. No arguement here. But, there are some very talented guys putting together some very good stuff for other purposes, elsewhere. Viva la Differance!
  13. As a member of the 3 best boards on this subject, I have to say it is ironic how much we all have to share and learn. One board focuses on crank baits or Musky stuff, the other Saltwater, goodies. What really surprised me, was that the Musky stuff generally dwarfs most of the SW offerings. I've seen some Musky baits with 7/0 trebles! For me, learning about casting foams and plastics has been very enlightening. Thank you all for the input and inspiration. Mike P
  14. Hey artist. Plugs are ready for shipping. Do a Google search under images. It's mind boggling. http://images.google.com/images?q=mackerel&hl=en&btnG=Google+Search here's one for mackerel. [/img] http://www.acfishing.com/fishid/list.html his site was linked by the above search.
  15. The only problem I have with that process, is the curing time for the Etex. If I were top coating with Devcon, I'd probably use it as a sealer, too. Just my $.02
  16. I've taken being unsophisticated to new low depths, BUT, unless you're Rembrandt, you should seriously consider going the spray route. JMHO. Don't be afraid to practice on scrap.
  17. Someone spent some big $'s on state of the art equipment for mass production and obviously knows a thing or two about design. The prices seem very reasonable, too. The more I looked at this work, the more impressed I was. There is a new player on the block!
  18. All of these were done with rattle cans or with foil and rattle cans. So while it's not the best way to go, it fits well into a 14 yr olds budget and work area. Just keep the stink OUTSIDE. WELCOME ABOARD AND GOOD LUCK.
  19. How does the Mr Bunker lures sit in the water? They're GAGS version of the Rattle Trap. I made a mold for it but I don't have a clue on how I should weight it to get the right attitude or action. TIA Mike P
  20. I guess it's OK, if you're into perfection and stuff like that. Another Piece of Art from the Artist, himself!
