  1. Lapala, I am interested in knowing more about the urethane primer. If you could be so kind to impart a little more info regarding the primer you are using. I have been hesitant to use any of the 2-part primers because of waste and clean-up associated with them. Since you mention dipping, is this accomplished without reduction or thinning? Do you know if what you are using is available in the U.S. or if there is a similar product? Thanks Again
  2. Lapala is that urethane primer a 2-part?
  3. There is a brand name "Autobody Masters" sold by many parts suppliers. I don't believe it is nitro, Acrylic. I think most of the paint jobbers still sell lacquer primer. Dupont sells lacquer primer under the Nason brand.

  12. Yes, you can shoot lacquer primer over the poly by applying light coats. For spot repair or a hole you can use lacquer spot and glazing putty.
  13. Good deal! Glad to see it up a running again!
  14. RangerZ: It doesn't take long once you have the componets ready some where around 5 minutes, I really don't know. I originally was going to use a reloading press and a sage to produce the actual weight to insert in the case. With a reloading tools you could make them quick! With a modifyed swage you could make a lead slug that would be the correct diameter, using the press to seat the lead in the case.

  18. Something I have been tinkering with, in regards to cartridge brass and rattles. I have taken .357 mag and 38 caliber brass to make a combo belly weight and rattle. With the primer knocked out of the case you can solder your brass hanger in the case, fill the case with lead for ballast and add a few bb's for rattle or add a round peice of lead of desired weight for the particular bait and the entire weight is used for an LOUD rattle.
