I can see the process but the coffee itself? I don't think that we have anything to worry about here.
I'm not a patent expert by any means; but it just doesn't make sense that they could patent coffee.

Sorry guys; I should have been more clear. Sticks are what I was talking about; or better yet; if you are using a 2 piece mold, then 2 colors are costing "you" more.
If it's a one piece mold than the extra time is not a problem.

Nice effect. I love playing around with colors. I've got a blue that turns yellow and a pink that turns neon green.
Nice looking frenchfries; did you make the mold?

Swamp; I had to scrap the first mold as it didn't come out as I wanted. I'm starting another one today. I've got a few names kicking around in my head; we'll see.

Wait for the first color to set up a little before you pour the second color. The second pour must be hot to make a good bond and the mold must be warm before you pour the first color or you will get a "cold crack" between the colors.
Welcome; by the way.

Believe it or not I got the idea for this bait from a water stain on a newspaper. The bait is 6" long and has a good action. These pics; of course; are of the master that I carved to make the 2 part molds.

I just saw something on Ebay that I've not seen before. Do a search for "terminator vibration big game lures" in the softbait section.
These are 8" swimbaits(painted I assume) and you can see through them. Quite a neat effect.

Thanks guys. It's nice to get older. The alternative is not desireable; lol.
There is a little S&P but I have more hair that my younger brother and he is almost bald.

The only large flake I use is black and I have the same thing happen. What I did was just heat it till it folds and use it that way. At least it is consistent. The black folded over makes a great firetiger back.
The thing is that you must roll with the punches and be consistent with what you do.

Sometimes learning by mistakes is the best way to learn. Pretty soon you'll be making foil-sided baits that work perfectly. There are a lot of guys on here that are very good at it and willing to help. Good luck.

Try oxblood with white pearl for the top. White pearl with one drop of white for the middle and the botttom looks like bright red with a touch of white pearl.
I may be way off on the top but I like to use LC oxblood for some applications of orange; just to be different.

Man; I thought they might have sent you a hat and shirt or even a coffee mug. You would think that doing what they do they should realize how much work goes into a handmade bait.
By the way, nice baits on your site.
