Same here Chris; but I do like the effect with certain colors. Also, if you have the right temps the second pour will split down the middle which I like. These are some of the things that injectors can't do. www.novalures.com

It all depends on the effect you want to create. If you want a defined line between the 2 colors then let the first pour set just a little. If you want to "blend" the 2 colors pour right away. www.novalures.com

Shawn; it's the perfume they put in it. Straight acetone doesn't have it. Not sure if the perfume effects the fish because I've never tried it. Didn't want to take any chances. www.novalures.com

Don't use fingernail polish remover it has a perfume in it. I use automotive acetone. Cheap to buy in a quart. www.novalures.com

What you need is a "puke bait". That's a white or off-color white bait like a 3" tube or a 3" fluke type fished with an EWG and a 3/0 splitshot about 12" up the line. The reason it's called a puke bait is when you catch a fish and he spits up it's always that color. Some fish will follow the hooked fish waiting for the puke.(easy meal) I catch more than a few fish like this when the timing allows. I even do it in dark water.(just because you don't see the fish doesn't mean it's not there). www.novalures.com

Could be a couple of things. You may have the mold release too thick; or there may be air bubbles suspended in the second batch. Try tapping the container before you put the pop into the mold to make the bobbles rise. If that's not it try applying the pop for the 2nd pour gently; even using a brush to cover the master and mold to eliminate air pockets. Do not pour the second batch too quickly into the mold as this in itself can cause bubbles. Hope this helps. www.novalures.com

If you are going to put water based scents in the hot plastic before you pour the baits; here is how you do it.(and you have you follow this instruction in the proper order or it won't work). 1/ pick up your phone and dial 911 to start the ambulance coming to you. 2/ pour the water based scent into the 350 degree plastic. 3/ sit down and make yourself relax as much as possible till the ambulance arrives.
