  1. Thanks, Rockhopper. I think I will give them a shot.
  2. I've been thinking about trying the standout hooks. I fish exclusively Gamakatsu's though. Nothing else seems to be a sharp. Are these hooks super sharp like the Gamakatus?
  3. Just wondering if anyone has dealt with a company called Vendor Pro. They market your product to retailers world wide. It all sounds good, but I am always nervous parting with my money
  4. Sorry, I found what I was looking for. I do have one question for the owner's of these sta-warm pots. What unit do you have or recommend. Thanks.
  5. I know this has been covered so I will apologize now. Where can a guy buy a stay warm pot? Thanks.
  6. I also keep my molds vertical. As far as the salt goes, I flour mine. I can get a ton more salt in these sticks. Way more than Yamamoto. You can make these things sink like a rock if you want to. Just pour your plastic hot and stir frequently.
  7. You have a valid point, however I think the main reason we pour these knock off type baits is to get colors and different softnesses than the original product can deliver. If somebody wants a beaver or senko in a certain color not produced, I don't have a problem making it for them. Just my two cents.
  8. I had some tourney shirts embroidered and decals made. I have my pickup doors covered with very large logos. I also had some nice window decals made. You can get this done at a local sign shop and an embroidery place. It is not cheap because of the set up costs, but in my opinion, well worth it. Good luck.
  9. I know how you feel. I make plastics, jigs, weights, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits and rods. I do not even have enough time to spend on plastics, but I guess I just need to feel like I am a jack of all trades. I was wanting to get an air brush recently, until my wife cracked me on the head and brought me to my senses This stuff is just too fun to put down.

    New Logo

    Looks awesome! Nice Job
  11. Does anyone else have a problem with the plastic gumming up and sticking to the inside of the production pots? I just switched to Calhoun's. I was using L.C. 536 and never had the problem. It takes about twenty minutes to clean the dang pots out now. I wonder if I didn't mix the plastic well enough when I transferred from the five gallon bucket to the individual gallon jugs. Any help would be appreciated.
  12. I just tried a mixture of anise and crawdad(both L.C.). The smell was so srtrong that it actually came through my garage and into my house. Needless to say the wife was not too happy with me. I usually just use crawdad, but I actually have some anise/craw combo coming from pro-cure. Hopefully it is a little more subtle
  13. The biggest fish I have caught was 6.5lbs (smallmouth) My tournament partner got one a few ounces bigger on one of my baits.
  14. Go to landbigfish.com and type in berkley pulse worm. It brings up the worm in all of the colors offered.
  15. I also use lee production pots, and hot plate and microwave. Where do you get the staywarm pots at pourboy?
  16. That's pretty low Too lazy to take his own I guess.
  17. I got mine from Bass Pro Shops. They were cheaper than any marine store around here. Good Luck.
  18. I know Lure Craft has a few. I haven't tried them though.
  19. Onlybass, you hit the nail right on the head :!:
  20. Del is finishing up a couple of custom molds for me as we speak. I have been waiting for a while myself, but I understand how hectic things can get. In my opinion Del is top notch and I will do plenty of business with him in the future :!:
  21. Thanks guys. That's what I was thinking too. I just wanted some opinions on it before I order.
  22. Which thickness do you guys prefer. As of right now I'm using 2 mil bags, but they seem a little flimsy to me. Getting ready to make a large order, so I want to make sure and get the correct ones. Thanks.
  23. He was a definate legend of the sport. He will be missed for sure.
  24. Thanks for the compliment I just don't have the time to be cutting and stapling. If this was my full time job, it might be a different story. For example the last store order I got was around 600 bags. That is a lot of cutting and boy did I burn through the ink cartridges on my printer. I just need something faster that will give me more time to pour.
