  1. Thanks for the help guys. I already use small labels on my bags to identify the bait and color. I did get a quote for some printed bags, and you were right on about the price. The cheapest I found came out to about 65 cents a bag I am getting a quote right now on some stickers which are about the same as the labels. I would love to be able to not print all of those out on my printer. The cost of cartriges kills me. Thanks again guys.
  2. I am thinking about getting my bags printed with my logo on them. Does anyone know of a good company that will do this. Either that or a label to stick to the bag. As of right now, I print my bag labels out of thick card stock, and to say the least, it takes forever to print, cut, fold and staple on to each bag. I am trying to cut down on time. Any help would be helpful
  3. It looks like bobs tackle shack is the one making them. I'm not sure of the price or wait time on them. They are awesome.
  4. Keep us posted on how that turns out. It sounds good to me. I always get air bubbles in my durhams.

Thanks for the info. It looks like I finally get to go to a Bass Pro Shops I'm not sure if my savings account can handle that trip

    Trip to Atlanta

It looks like I will be going to Atlanta in late June, early July. My wife is being sent to a chef school for a week. I have always wanted to go there. Can anyone lead me to some bass fishing down there. The problem is I probably won't be able to bring most of my stuff, if any. I might try a guide or something like that. Any suggestions about lakes or guides would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  7. These molds will have a flat side. You can over pour a little to get it a little more rounded.
  8. A reaper is very easy to pour too. It also kills the smallmouth
  9. I can't really tell from the picture, but you might be able to get it with brown, and pumpkinseed. Both LC colors.
  10. I wonder if a cold garage is the culprit. I just started having that problem too. My garage is a little on the cold side. All I have is a small heater pointed at my work bench. I guess it could be the molds. It happens to me when I pour in the water putty molds. :
  11. That bait should load the boat :!: Great job.

    Worst part?

I hate bagging and printing out bag labels
  13. I use the trimming scissors sold by Lure Craft. They are Fiskars brand and they have a spring to keep them open. They work great!
  14. Thanks for the help guys. I do like those bleeding bait skirts, but I'm not sure if I can use them for this customer. I also like the dye idea. I need to go see if I have any pumpkin skirts laying around. Thanks again.
  15. 1. Smoke with copper and black flake 2. Watermelonseed 3. Green Pumpkin
  16. Can anybody here help me : I am needing chartreuse with red flake skirt tabs or skirts. It seems nobody carries this color combo. The one company that I found that could make them wanted almost $200.00. I only need 50 to 100 tabs. I am trying to match a skirt color that a customer wants. Any help would be appreciated.
  17. Try Ebay. Look under fishing and then type in molds. There was a lot of lead for sale the last time I looked.
  18. I think we are all "still learning". That's what makes it such a great hobby. I would also like to wish everybody best wishes and have a great holiday season.
  19. 1. Smallmouth 2. Largemouth We do not have any spotted bass up here in the northwest
  20. What would be the easiest way to paint multi color heads. I have used the vinyl paint in the aerisol cans and powder paint on the few that I have painted over the last couple of years. I was looking for a more professional finish. Do you need a air brush? Any help would be appreciated. I mainly do soft plastics, so I am kind of a newby at painting. Thanks
  21. Could you post a pic of the color :
  22. In my experience, you have to add salt. A little salt will not cloud your baits too badly. But to get that great fall rate that the senko is famous for, you need to add a lot of salt. Another option is to use a heavier wire hook, and maybe bump up a size.
