    What Bugs You?

Having people say there is no way we handpourers can match a senko or ika in texture and color. A lot of people won't even try them. Oh well, there loss:wink:
  2. 8oz. plastic (1cup) 6 drops red 6 drops blue 13-14 drops purple blue flake All L.C. colors
  3. I am in the same boat as a lot of you guys. I get a lot of free requests. I generally don't do it. I have two sponsored anglers on a local level. I give them quite a bit of free stuff, but they also promote my stuff very well during tournaments and with tournament shirts, hats, and decals. They also give me imput, on what they like/dislike about the baits. They also give me great ideas on color combinations and new bait ideas. I have also given away 20-30 packs to some local bass clubs to distribute at meetings and for drawings. My reasoning is that the more people who initially get their hands on my product, will be more apt to buy it when they see it at the tackle store. Whatever you do, do not over extend yourself on the amount of product you are physically and financially able to provide.
  4. Nut as is the kind that goes on a bolt. LOL.
  5. That is very true. I didn't even think about being mislabeled. The watermelon should not look blue at all.
  6. Try adding a drop or two of black.
  7. All of my pots pour at different temperatures. I actually had to mark them so I wouldn't burn my plastic. What a pain in the butt!

    Choked

    Wow! That is sweet!
  9. Welcome aboard! What type of baits do you make?
  10. These skirts are the best I have ever seen. I just ordered from him not that long ago, and the service is awesome. I haven't had a chance to fish them yet, but they are magic in the testing tank.
  11. I recall a possible aluminum mold source, besides Del or Bob's, somebody had found before on here. I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know the company or link for this? Thanks.
  12. Use it with salt. This makes a fantastic stick bait. This will get you pretty close: 1/2cup plastic, 1-1.5 tbs salt, 3 tbs sugar, 2 tbs softner.
  13. I have never had a problem ordering from them, especially since the new owners have taken it over.
  14. I wouldn't advise using "Senko" You will probably get a visit from some high powered attorneys. I think I remember reading that Alsworms from this site got a nasty letter from GYCB because his stick bait is called the "Alsenko" Can you believe that.
  15. Thanks for the reply. I kind of thought it was the microwave.
  16. Has anyone had issues using a microwave in a fairly cold garage. I ask because my microwave keeps shutting off after about 10 or 20 seconds. It is only about 5 months old. Just curious if it is the temperature or just a faulty microwave. I also just had the heat coil go out in one of my production pots Not a good week. LOL
  17. Congrats to Luke Clausen for winning the Bass Masters Classic It is great to see a fellow Washington state angler take the sport's biggest prize. Way to go :!:

    Columbia River

I have fished the Columbia on numerous occasions. I have not fished all of the different pools though. Each pool between dams is huge! This is one awesome river system. I might be able to help you out.
  19. My M-F has a strong odor as well. It smells up my entire shop. It still pours great though.
  20. Chris, I use the pyrex to tin cup method with M-F. I do not have a problem at all with the plastic sticking to the cups. It pulls out in one neat piece. I also use production pots with great results. When I used to use Calhoun's, it seemed like it took me forever to get the plastic out of my production pots. It works a lot better for me with M-F.
  21. My hottest color towards the end of last year what I call Oxblood Passion. 1/2cup plastic 10-20 drops oxblood (depends on how dark you want it) blue hi-lite small and medium black flake. This color just kills the smallmouth.
  22. I use M-F and I have not had this problem. I'm not sure what would cause that. I roll my baits very lightly in floured salt as I bag them.
  23. I went to Office Depot and got some of their custom label made up. They were very reasonable and come on easy to work with rolls. Just ask the clerk about the labels, and they will show you a catalog. They are glossy too. They look great.
