  1. I usually let my baits cure for at least 24-36 hours. If I am not crunched for time, I let them sit for a couple of days. I use cookie sheets on a rack system, which works out great.
  2. L.C. brown and a drop of red is right on too.
  3. I saw in an older issue of Bass Times that there is a video available from Lake Fork Tackle Repair. I hope this helps. I believe their site is http://www.lakeforktacklerepair.com

    5 1/2" Lizard

Is Bob's Z lizard as good as a curly tail model? If so, I might go that direction. Thanks.
  5. Does anyone know where I can get a 5 1/2" lizard mold. I am getting a ton of requests for this size. I know L.C. has them, but I would prefer something other than silicone. Thanks.
  6. A western tourny would be great
  7. I remember somebody posting that on this forum somewhere, so I tried it for sticks and I love it. Could just be all in my head :-D Do most of you use the supersoft M-F for sticks? I was using Calhoun's until the bubble problem. I would hate to order two different plastics if I don't need to. Like an idiot, I used all of my super soft on dropshot baits, so I'm not sure how it is on sticks.
  8. I went through my samples fast too. What fantastic plastic I am getting ready to order 5 gallons of regular for sticks and 5 gallons of super soft for everthing else. Awesome plastic!
  9. Lure Craft has several small fluke type baits. Give them a try
  10. It looks like I had better try the M-F pearl. Sounds a heck of a lot better. Thanks guys
  11. I use salt just in stickbaits(for the weight). I do believe however, that the reason bass hang onto the bait so long is the salty taste. I use various scents in my other plastics, which have the same effect, with out sinking.
  12. #1 or #3 I like them both
  13. Did anyone read the article in the new Bassmaster about Washington State. Basically the the city council of Bellingham is trying to take fishermen and boaters rights away by imposing a 2-stroke motor ban on Lake Whatcom. This is one of the best fisheries in the state. Please voice your opinion at this link. http://www.cob.org/council/index.htm The fishermen might be the only hope we have. Thanks.
  14. I like #3. It has to be "world" to include all of the people outside the U.S.A.
  15. I use just L.C. pearl white powder. It turns out awesome on flukes.
  16. Thanks guys. I wasn't planning on putting salt in them. Thanks for the good info
  17. I was just wondering, are you guys using salt in these like with the rest of the stick baits? I thought I saw somebody doesn't add salt. I was just curious because I am thinking about getting a couple. Thanks.
  18. So if the Sta-warm pots rust with salt, what is the best method for high production stick worms? Is is microwave with a lot of molds? I only have a couple of stick molds, but I am looking to up my production capacity.
  19. What would the ratings be for? It is an interesting concept. Who would determine if someone is a "journeyman" or an "apprentice"
  20. I live in washington too. I think shipping is just one of those expenses we have to deal with. We are in zone 7 I believe. Which means we have the highest shipping rates. Lucky us
  21. I like your bags too. Any chance of getting some info on them. Thanks.
  22. My last five gallon bucket is not usable either. Tons of bubbles and foam. I am going to M-F. I will still buy molds and such from Del however.
  23. I use pumpkinseed from L.C. Just add drops until desired effect. It will turn out almost exactly like Yamamoto's. Hope this helps.
  24. MF also has one called the Chewy Bob. It is a couple of bucks more, but I am sure it it a better mold. Here is the link: http://www.fishingworld.com/M-F-Manufacturing/Details.tmpl?ID=98226600692375&Cart=11113387662301265&SKU=2180CB
  25. If you are talking about the egg cluster molds, like you would use for river fishing for salmon and steelhead, Lure craft has them. I am not sure if they are any good or not. Good luck
