  2. thanks woodsac, i now remember many people talking about pro-cure and how much they liked it. where can i buy it?
  3. quick question guys, i haven't been here in a while and wanted your thoughts on the best worm oil to use. i believe the last i used was mf anise and wanted your thoughts on what you feel is the best for using in the bait itself, as well as for adding to the bag when finished. thanks, rex

  8. i've got a few rubber molds, what's the main difference in using rubber vs a hard plastic mold? is one going to give more defined features than the other?
  9. what about for non senko's, just standard worms, same thing?
  10. i'm clearly to new to this, but i bought my plastic from barlows and i really like the feel of this plastic. i have nothing to compare it to, other than my store bought plastics, but it really has a great feel to it. does anyone else buy from them or know where they get their plastic?
  11. sorry to keep flooding you guys with questions, but i'm trying to get this figured out. i was wondering what you guys would say is the right amount of salt to use if i'm mixing 4oz of plastic at a time. by the way, all the feedback i have received has helped me big time. i just received my platic, colors etc. and have been brewing up some interesting worms. now i realize that i have to get more diff. colors, glitter and whole bunch more plastic. all your help has been greatly appreciated and i'm learning a lot from you guys. thanks for all the help. rex

  13. can i pick this stuff up at a grocery store or does this need be special ordered?
  14. what do you guys suggest to make a 2 piece mold? i want to be able to create worms and lizards that will have a more life like appearance, rather than just having a flat side to it. would suggest making something or would you suggest buying a 2 piece mold from someplace?
  15. thanks fuzz, i'll keep that in mind.
  16. thanks Mercury, that cleared up all my questions regarding scent. i'll let you know the results.
  17. those look unreal. how big is the larger of the two?
  18. i have a question regarding using or combining scents. i am waiting on some anise oil in the mail and was wondering a couple of thiings: first, do you guys suggest that i put the oil in the bag after making the molds or into the plastic as it is cooking? secondly, can i mix either bang garlic or chompers directly with the plastic, or wait until i put them in the bag? lastly, can you combine the anise, for a lubricating effect and the garlic scent together? i'm getting very anxious and want to hit the ground running when the goods arrive, so any help would be much appreciated.
  19. true, i can tell this is going to be quite addictive. thanks for all your input, i will let you guys know how things work out once i get all my materials and begin making my creations.
  20. thanks guys, it looks like their are a bunch of knowedgable, helpful people on this board and i look forward to learning from all of you. i am waiting for my molds and plastic as we speak, but in the meantime, i put together some molds of my own and have been practicing using paris of plaster. i have made some large lizards and frog variations and have been melting down some old plastics to get the feel of it.
  21. i just recently came across this site from another and absolutely love it. i have been tinkering with my plastics for years, but am just now getting into pouring and have some questions. i just ordered some gear(molds, plastic, color etc.) from barlow's tackle and wondered if you guys knew anything about them. from what i have read on this board, it seems that different companies plastics require more or less hardner to them. i wondered if i could get your thoughts on how much hardner i will need when brewing up 1 oz of plastic? this board seems like a great bunch of guys willing to share a lot of great information. i am looking forward to learning and sharing any interesting combos i come up with. thanks for your help. rex
