Well here it is my first 2 piece mold. I'm pretty happy with the results,The baits come out nice even with a brush hair dried in the epoxy. I'm now waiting for the plaster to fully dry on a 4 cavity 2 piece mold.[/img]

All my molds are made of plaster and sealed with MINWAX Polycrylic.is it possible to clean the molds up with a good cleaner then reseal them with Devcon.or is it best to make all new molds.

I fished lake ida in fla before i moved to NY it's located in delray beach fla.good fishing but to jet skis.lake osbourn in lake worth is also a good place for some good bass fishing . Caught my biggest bass there it was 28 1/2 " long dont know the girth used my son a tape measure lol.

here's a pic of some stick baits I made from a plaster mold. one is with the flat spot up so you can see it the other is with the round side up. I also made a one peice mold of a 3" senko copy with a plastic cup. what i did was after i filled the cup with plaster I used a finishing nail through popcicle stick, I then put my lure on the nail so it was hanging straight down.Then I lowered my bait into the plaster. and the popcile stick rest's across the top of the cup. remove bait when plaster is dry seal the plaster and pour da dadaaaa a 3" senko[/img]

dont know how much weed growth there is supposed to be there. but there is weed growth about 2" below the surface on the big lake in spots.

I have the Devcon but havent used it yet do i need to thin it with some Acton or can i use it straight form the disspenser

Went to winding hills park last night to try the bait in a greenpumkin color had a few hits but no fish.I used it with no weight and retrevied it like a jerk bait awsome action.

the plaster im using now has really no name I bought it at home depo in a 25# bag.thanks for the advice It will be used greatly.I'll start from scratch and make a new mold and try the sealer you recomend.I"m using MINWAX water based polycrylic now. thanks for your help Brian of K&M Worms www.kandmworms.com

I have a 4" and a 6" slugo molds i made out of plaster in the 6" mold when I pour my plastic I'm getting air bubbles in the middle of the bait by the two ridges the 4" mold gives me no problems.did I miss an aera with the sealer I dont know need help have order to do

Here's a bait I fused togeather and made a mold for,The body is from a 7'culprit worm and the tail section is a reaper havent fished it yet but in the tub the action is great lol.[/img]
