I did resin molds for the small & medium sizes. The results weren't that great. Had the same problem geting the whole flapper to come out. I even got out the dremel & opened them up some, helped a little but not enough. As was statted earlier I think the problem is air trapped in the rib of the flapper. I was thinking of drilling a small hole from the side into the flapper to see if that helped just haven't done it yet.

OhioMike here, The box I made was 6"W X 12"L X 2"Deep, with a hole drilled on one end to plug the hose into. For the lid I took 2 pieces of aluminum and just set them on the top. That way I could control the width of the slit by moving them up and down seperately. When I first started using it I taped the lids to the box to get a good seal. As jigmeister said, I no longer tape them down, a shop vac gives you all the vacuum need without sealing the lid, alittle too much & it will pull the plastic right thru. I also use a foot pedal to controll the on-off

Doc, the mold only has 1 cavity, when I made mine I made up 5 of them. That way I pour 1 set it aside, pour another & so on. Doc I'll make you 3 of them & ship it to you in a Post office 1 price folder $3.85. I figure $10 ought to cover the price of the resin & shipping. Don't want any more than that. Glad to help out. Doc, I made a copy of it. I still have the master if you would like a couple I could do them for you. I make them out of Bondo resin.

I have purchased several molds from Bob over the last few months & been very satisfied, until the last order. I had a problem with one of my new molds. I sent him an E-Mail discribing the problem and a possible solution. My reply from him was" Not to worry I'll send you a new mold". I received it in 1 day. Now thats customer service! If anyone here is considering buying Bob's products, he has my highest indorsement.

Had our first Tourny of the year Sunday, 28 teams. My partner and I won it on baits that I made (WHAT A RUSH), now everybody in the tourney wants to buy them. 8.60 lbs for 10 fish, not a bad weight here in Ohio. Caught them in badly stained water on white nail tails, go figure always heard dark water dark baits. Man am I pumped
