  2. Send me a completed bait, I'll show ya what I mean and send it back to you top coated.
  3. I would highly suggest you finish the lure before painting and top coating even in a through wire bait (put the wire in) OR lightly coat the brass rods with a lubricant.
  4. All you really need to do is scuff the surface then base coat. I use 320 grit sandpaper, you can also use scotchbright pads, or even 800 grit sand paper.
  5. WOW, great booth and wonderful thread here. I really enjoyed the read. Another thing you can use instead of a dimmer switch is a foot control from a sewing maching, they also work great on the drill press.

  7. Wonderful work!!! I love doing the foil that way it gives more depth. Just getting the wire "straight" is an accomplishment, you sir gots it down to an art.
  8. Here's a couple Photo Finish baits I made for a good friend of mine. He wanted them EXTRA shallow, XX hard Balsa.

  11. I've done several "belly-up" paint jobs with shap raps and rouge's.

  13. I also tried it and didn't like it. I sold it for $2...I made out....lol I use nothing but plasti-dip.

  15. I would imagine there are lots a ways to do it....this is just what works for me with the size balsa baits I'm making.

  20. Which will make your crank go deeper with the line tie on the lip? Close to the bait? Or out from the bait, middle of the lip?? Thanks, Terry
