Great lure - you should post that "bad boy" in the gallery.

CJ Heard the dodo's to 30lbs are hitting off the patties all the way to Newport. Maybe we can hook up and do a Fred Hall show at Del Mar or Long Beach (can do weekends only). I am willing to be a "submitter" as well as a "tester". I fish saltwater (inshore/offshore) but mostly in Baja, now Costa Rica (river, estuary, and inshore), and Lake Perris for big bluegill.

DeVery Absolutely fantastic ? how do you do the eyes? Can you do them like the 3D eyes? Tried to go to your web site but couldn?t connect. Won?t be able to critique your baits fish catching ability either ? because they won?t touch the water. Earthworm77 Do you powder paint your jigs? Great color combinations. Brian Still waiting?.. Been messing around with Columbia Coating?s Illusion paint. WOW ? good stuff, you might be interested in trying some. I got the sample kit. They say on the web site that it works on all colors ? don?t know about that. Works great on their mirror black with holographic glitter.

Try Tackle-craft, for a catalog call 715 723 3645. They have a short marabou grizzly fluff 1? to 2 ? long that is great.

Redg8er Is there a format (word doc - ppt) that is preferable? And the size of the pictures? Max size of file?

I?m voting for the jig swap to generate more money for TU. Not sure how the auction will be carried out - would like to see each pack individually auctioned, some TU members might not be able to compete for one major pack. Also, individual packs might lure more of the Guests to join TU to get in on the auctions. Members only and high bidder pays for shipping. Get out the check book chirmy....

Mr. B Any luck with finding a supplier? I use the saltwater jig hooks and the deep throat style jig hook from the same suppliers that you previously mentioned. I haven't bought in bulk, but if you are interested in splitting the cost on bulk jig hooks - send me a PM. Thanx

Did you clean (prep) your lead before you painted the primer coat?

Thought you were doing the eyes with powder paint. With the 3D eyes I've been double dipping the jig in clear vinyl (don't like the fumes). I'm going to try powder painting on some jigs with recessed eyes. Either packing a metal tube(s) with paint or might try an eraser ? got some new molds all with recessed eyes. Like your trollers, looks like with some wire rigging they could make some awesome wahoo bombs.

Brian ranger619 Did you use your "sifting" method on any of the jigs that you sent in the swap?

Jig Man Aha, success. Does the wife know about the grating yet?? Here's another attempt at posting pics. This is a side view of the rack.

JIGMAKER Sorry the pic isn't clear, the one I wanted to post didn't come out at all. Made two cuts, one on each side, on the back of the rack separating it from the support sides so I could bend the rack in the middle and roll it up. I'll try another pic of just the rack tomorrow. Posted a pic in the Jig Gallery of the color combo I was telling you about.
