  1. I have been using the same compressor that I use for trim work it is a two gallon single oil less one that I bought from Tractor Supply. if you use it alot it will run alot. I set mine tank pressure at 100lbs and paint with between 10-20lbs. Jeff
  2. Talk to your local sherwin-william dealer about their Acrylic lacquer and they do have it,T75F18, maybe not in stock $60.00 a gal. but they can order it. you can use it as a build coat to protect your paint and the dip your baits in a automotive acrylic lacquer and they will be as tuff as anything. I know several crankbait makers and this is what they use! just google acrylic lacquer and you will find there are many places to by it. or go to www.tcpglobal.com and they have what you maybe needing and they have top notch service. 3. I have found Do-itmolds.com has a airbrush paint the is made for airbrushing and it is as good as createx.it is a very good paint, it flows really well and is a "little expensive" but it does really good. And they also have a top coat that I use which is a very good top coat and they told me that a lot of big name lure companies use their products. you can call them @ 1-319-984-6055 or you can call CS coatings which is a sister company @ 1-800-255-3924 or website ...www.csipaints.com and check out their line of paints. Hope this helps Jeff Francis RiverValleyCrankbaits

  15. hey guys these baits do work ! i met a man 4 or 5 yrs ago in tennessee and had him groove baits that i bought and had him paint them too. these baits have a great vibration they are made to catch smallmouth but they will catch largemouth also. his name is rex pendergrass he is from bristol, tenn. i don't remeber his phone# but he does a great job! he has to many different colors to name. look him up and see if he stills does this, good luck! jeff
  16. hey terry, it's jeff from colliers wv. i use a sanding-sealer that is used on wood doors or whatever. i use either minn wax or sherwin williams brand but make sure you don't get the laquer sealer it has a bad effect on some paints i've tried. also talked to skeeter two weekends ago when i went to north carolina to check on my house there and i think he was having a problem with the laquer also(skeeter is a very smart man concering making crankbaits and using devcon as a top coat) so give it a try. jeff
