  1. Truly was a tough color to match. Biggest ball buster ever!
  2. Thank you guys. I put the eyes on using a black sharpie. It's a tiny bait so all is needed is a poke with the sharpie.
  3. I grabbed my silicone molds, fired up my Lee pots and went to town making myself some DS baits this week. After injecting for the past few years, I kinda forgot just how distinctly different hand pours are from injected ones...sure wish I could duplicate the prism effects I can get with my HP with my twin injector.
  4. My un-sugar coated view. I hear you on lack of communication and its is a very frustrating thing to deal with. When it comes to Bob and Del.....expect it! To be honest, I have had the same issues several times over the past 20+ years...its all part of the process and you just have to deal with it. Bob and Del are the very first to make VERY, VERY AFFORDABLE CNC'd extremely high quality aluminum molds available to the G.P. (Not enough thanks is given to these guys) These two fellas don't make a living on cutting aluminum molds for us fisherman, they have much larger, higher PRIORITY things to tend to first. Time on the phone and responding to emails pulls them away from getting their work done.......if you want a fast response and turnaround there are many other suppliers/manufactures out there aimed directly towards this hobby. But for me.....I'll GLADLY take the lack of communication/and wait in exchange for the product I'm getting. Bob and Del...kinda like the Seinfeld episode with the "Soup Nazi" The abuse people have to go through to get the very best
  5. Ok so here ya have it! The tube in the center is the Brown Craw Gitzit....two dropshot baits are my hand poured ones. The transparent brown was the key....I havent used that stuff in 20 years. Thanks again Al
  6. Speaking of old school..... Was just talking to some fishing buddies the other day on how there were only about 6 hand pourers back in the day.... Western hand poured, ALS worms, dragon baits, robo worms, northern hand poured and MGM.... Now there is an overwhelming amount of small-medium sized bait shops.
  7. Spot on Al! Will post a photo Wedensday when I get back in the office. I was using chartreuse as a base trying to get the dual color it has..... Your recommendations were dead on!!! Thanks again
  8. I have them both will give it a try. Thanks Al
  9. Been trying to duplicate this Gitzit....brown craw color. After 100 try's I give up....anyone ever nail this color? if so would you care to share how you did it. Thanks T
  10. "Buyer Beware" Absolutely NOT!!! Ultra Molds are top notch and very innovated people. Great people, with a great product at a great price!
  11. Ditto! Glitter curling issues have gotten worse over the years. Purple and Blue have always been troublesome....now it seems to be effecting Kelly Green, Lime Green and Red as well.
  12. I'm in!!!! Green and Purple that don't curl???? im sooooo in.
  13. From my personal experiences when it comes to plastic memory...some brands are much worse than others. The best plastic I have found that has the least memory issue is Ozark and what ever Don Iovino is using. About ten years ago I did a comparison (posted here on T.U.) of 6 plastisol manufactures. That test consisted of raw plastic settling, clarity, shore, water absorption, memory, Max temp before scorching, viscosity verses temp, buoyancy and strength. All tests were done being as controlled as possible, using Tentalometers, Durometers and optical sensors. I will look and see if I still have the white papers, pie charts and graphs......that info is on one of my old computers some where.
