Thank you for the info!

Did a count last night while emptying one of my curing racks and the rack actually holds 447 baits.
-
Thanks! How much bigger? I have the Del 8" and it is at least 1/8" larger in diameter than the Yamamoto....it just doesn't have the action due to its girth.

A few more photo's of the man cave. I use this bench to demold my baits and heat my coffee. A closer look at my Senko Curing Racks....each one holds about 330 Sticks. This is where I keep my personal Stash This rack I made out of some old equipment rack filler plates. And my OCD Glitter rack

I have two types of speed controllers.....a 200Khz DIY version with duty cycle control and a 200Khz prefab controller with 50/50 duty cycle. I also use the TB6560AHQ for my driver....both a DIY and a Prefab. You can expect 150RPM out of the Prefab stuff, with a low to moderate noise level and my DIY controller will get you up to 200RPM's and is whisper quiet. (BTW) Both the DIY and Prefab driver I ran a 90pf ref. capacitor for maximum speed and since everything is local I eliminated the opto-couplers.....that really cuts down on hi-speed harmonics due to the lower slew. The prefab I used came from China VIA. Ebay....driver was $14 and the Controller was $25 and shipping was $2.95.....was on my doorstep in 5 days imagine that! Driver board used Speed Controller used

Its .040....if it was .015 we'd be talking. not sure the .040 is subtle enough compared to the .015

Hard to tell in that photo sitting next to an unknown 5" Want to purchase the 7" injection molds from Bass Tackle but Bass Tackle doesn't have any sample baits of their 7"
-
Anyone have the Bass Tackle 7" BT Stick? How close is it to the Yamamoto 7" Thanks T

Zoom and Yamamoto use white gold glitter in their magic. I found some on ebay a couple of years ago....but have never seen it again. light gold is close but not quite the same as the white gold.

Thank you Rupert, It was my pleasure! I really cant thank you enough for your assistance and generosity. Everything is spot on and the lock works absolutely perfect!!! Tell ya one thing, I have the crappiest timing....wish I saw your new small 3 valve unit before I started mine. LOL I'm sure I will out grow mine after the production molds come....might be hearing from me soon!
-
A couple of updates. Installed a locking bracket for the injector to help secure it during filling and also added a support bracket to the blending valve to eliminate flexing of the pot tubes. Now just awaiting on the production molds cant wait to off these little 10 cavity molds.

http://www.johnsonbag.com They have a great product and good pricing.

Has any one tried using some salt in the belly half? or will it take away to much of its buoyancy? Hmmmm maybe a frog with a salted bottom and floater bubbles in the top half....might be killer.

Have been in this business for 20+ years and I really am astounded on how well our suppliers take care of us....sometimes to fault. In the past 20 years other than one plastic manufacturer, I have had nothing but GREAT transactions and service that more American companies should learn from. Haven't dealt with them all but have dealt with most. M-F, Lurecraft, Bobs, Del, Ozark, Bears and recently Ultra Molds....a personal hats off to you ALL!!! Thomas Kail Northern Hand Poured

"highlight colors" Highlights will cloud up a bait...that's normal. Try using a pearl instead (sparingly) it plays way better with clear baits.

2 cups plastic with appropriate amount of salt, 13 drops LC Pewter, 12 drops of LC Black, 1.3cc of .015 black glitter and 2.5cc of .015 light Gold glitter. Here is a Yamamoto on left and my injected ones on the right. Only difference is the Yamamoto is not as shiny as my injected ones.

Most mass marketed soft plastics will run between 25-35 Shore. SS hand pour plastic is around 20-23 Shore.

OP....wasn't debating on how fast or how many baits I can make...and to be honest I can care less. I just saw you post a very rosy picture of micro waves and Pyrex and how it is all so superior to other methods....when in fact its not when it comes to Health and Safety. Can you make awesome baits with a micro and Pyrex? ABSOLUTELY!!! but as with everything in life there are pros and cons. You are not the only person on TU.....this is a open social learning site and there are hundreds of user from teenagers to well....old farts and at all different experience levels....many of which are lurkers. No reason to take any kind of offensive to someone mentioning the well know Safety issues with your preferred method of pouring...wasn't bashing your method....just mentioning the other side of the rosy path for some lesser experienced TU members.

Just wanted to express that this hobby can not be taken so nonchalantly.

When I was in business I did all open pour....still have hundreds of molds leftover if ya want any The heat exchanger had zero issues keeping up. Turn it on wait maybe 45 seconds, turn valve and I had a constant flow of ready to use plastic. I guess I just see too many people getting way to complacent with this hobby. Cant caution enough about the use of Pyrex, the use of non vented micro wave ovens and now more then ever I see and hear people using just any plain old silicone to pour hot plastic into....that is a very, very bad move.... I can just imaging the formaldehyde levels in your blood stream. Again I'm just not a fan of Pyrex! Witnessed a Pyrex failure many years ago at a buddies shop.....till you see a human wear 2 cups of 340 degree plastic you really have no idea of what your really playing with.
