  1. Pradco announced this last week and said the Money Minnow line will become part of the YUM line.
  2. Great swirls Sinko and outstanding photography. They look like they are sitting on my desk.
  3. Nice Job - that chair looks real comfortable too!
  4. Save the mistakes and use the plastic to make masters for mold making.
  5. This should get you started: http://www.tackleunderground.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10890&highlight=printing+plastic
  6. Are they hollow like the Basstrix paddletail minnows?
  7. bdominia - that guys name is clark dick - lol
  8. Musky, to take your idea a step further, after you weld the flippers on, make a new mold and pour them complete.
  9. If you look at the Beaver, Chatterbait and Basstrix baits that have patents and are knocked off by everyone it doesn't seem like the time and money spent to patent a lure is worth it. And that is just the beginning. Enforcing the patent is another issue altogether. I think you get your big bang in the first year and once everyone sees it is a good bait, the knockoffs kick in full force. So, that leaves you with how to make a lot of baits in the first year. Evaluate your own capacity and take the full profit or share it with a big company and get a percentage of sales.
  10. All American is the brand name of the pressure pot Delw speaks of. It looks like this:
  11. I have some Ament jig head molds and a small spinnerbait mold. I was not aware he made these by pressing a steel master into the aluminum. They don't look as crisp and clean as a Do-It mold but they pour fine.
  12. Great Job! - on the baits and the pictures.
  13. Barlows is a distributor for MF. They don't carry all the colors but you can buy some other tackle making products at the same time as well.
  14. You could order a gallon of mid-grade plastic and a pint of hardener and make the baits progressively firmer till you get the action you like. That way, you would have plastic for other baits. Buying pints or quarts gets expensive really fast.
  15. I see - the headless swimbait. Maybe that is the difference between fresh and saltwater swimbaits. Looks like the Big Hammer line.
  16. Dink - those rainbows came out really nice.
  17. Berkley has the Hollow Belly. At 5 inches, I don't think it is a salt water bait but anything is possible. Looks like the Basstrix.
  18. Nice job Loco - They look like they should work well.
  19. Loco - you dipping stick looks like it should work. What problems are you having?
  20. Take a look at this thread: http://www.tackleunderground.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12358
  21. I remember all the salt threads. I thought they were more about the different salts available and modifying their forms by powdering and the like. The adjective "PURE" threw me. I wasn't thinking of additives like Iodine or manufacaturing by-products like dirt.
  22. Kim - are the new catalogs ready?
  23. Nick - aren't you brave! I would have RTV all over the floor and the toes of my boots.
  24. That's amazing. Herters went out of business 30 years ago and I assume the fleshex is still pourable. I wonder if it has a shelf life.
  25. I went to your site to see the color and noticed the description of the bait said you use pure salt. Isn't all salt pure?
