Here is one of many suppliers that have been discussed on this site: http://www.johnsonbag.com/worm_bags.htm The search function can be used to find more.
  4. There is a thread currently running on this forum you may be interested in: http://www.tackleunderground.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11523
  5. Monkeyhunter - Why do you want the molds to slide?
  6. I second the Diamond Crystal fine salt. It's container looks like this. Frank - have you ever seen or used their popcorn salt?
  7. Funny you should mention swirls - we just had a thread on them and your skills at making them.
  8. My bag of baits is greenpumkin on the top and orange on the bottom too. As we have found out several times, the way the picture was taken and the way our individual monitors present it can severly distort the actual colors.
  9. I don't think it is bad to present problems you had with a product. It opens the door to others saying "yea, it happened to me too" or "I had that problem and I fixed it by......". I wouldn't consider anything in this thread bashing. It was presented in good taste.
  10. An interesting thing that he did was incorporate plaster molds into an aluminum jacket. It appears that he milled a large pocket, poured plaster into it and set the master on top of it.
  11. It is item number 260200116658. I like the Jake brake switch on the temperature controller. The system does produce product - look at all the inventory.
  12. It's more like green pumpkin on the top and amber or lite orange on the bottom.
  13. Hawghunter - in case you missed it: http://www.tackleunderground.com/for...swirled+colors This is a search. MDC put in swirled and colors in the search box and found this thread. This is a very useful tool for finding threads that will answer your questions. When you post, you may get a couple responses while when you search, you could find 25 or more. Learning to use this tool will advance your knowledge quickly.
  14. I think One Sock gets 2 or 3 different colors ready to pour at the same time and then mixes them together (not completely) then pours.
  15. Frank - that picture is excellent. What tips can you give regarding setting up a camera to take this level of quality.
  16. I find that if I get any of the powders - POP, Durhams or Ultracal - too wet, you get bubbles. I would have thought it would be the other way around and the bubbles would float to the top.
  17. Very good - I like the transparent belly.
  18. Get plain, not the iodized.
  19. Get Diamond Crystal - the finer salt - at your local grocery store.

  21. If you don't have a source of aluminum, go to the hardward store and ask for step flashing or see a roofer for a piece. I had left over step flashing from an addition I put on the house and had some left over. It worked for me.
  22. Nice baits - I like the way you molded a B into the side of the bait.
  23. I Googled Delw's Dayton info and got" 4Z146 25 RPM, 1/60hp, 115V Run Torque 22 in. lbs. 7 ZEM 6025-2 1. 50 5 lb. $77.50 found it at http://www.electricmotorwarehouse.com/Dayton/3M104.htm This is much slower than a drill press and is more consistent with previous posts on this site. As others have said, 550 RPM seems very fast for stirring. Saint, how fast do you run the drill motor? Full, half, very slow?
  24. There are also three stickies at the top of this forum that have a lot of good information. Don't forget to try to use the search function.
