  4. I would like Bob's creature mold in the bottom left of the picture.
  5. I have .015 gold from Lurecraft. It is about 7 years old and does not do this. They must have changed suppliers.
  6. If you look at the defendants in the link and think about their similar products, it seems that NetBait feels any bait with a flat claw is at issue even though some, like the rage tail, have what I believe to be a significant difference with the curvature and the raised ridge on the radius. Also notice there was a 350 dollar filing fee.
  7. Careful Reef - Bears Baits sells Calhoun's and your criticism is going to get Mr. Bilky's panties in a knot.
  8. The 570 is a light wire hook with a 90 degree bend. Other manufacturers hooks are made in the same or similar wire with different bend styles. An example site would be Barlows Tackle. They lump all the 90 degree wire hooks on one page on their website. Check out the link below. Cut and paste it into your browser window if it is not "clickable". http://www.barlowstackle.com/acb/showprod.cfm?&DID=6&CATID=57&ObjectGroup_ID=336
  9. Since it can't be stirred, what happens to the plastic during shipping? Unless the container is filled completely to the top, shipping is going to shake it up pretty good - especially if it goes UPS.
  10. I have two sizes of one cup Pyrex/Anchor measuring cups. They both say one cup but one will hold quite a bit more above the one cup line and it is significantly bigger in diameter. I haven't tried it but it seems like the larger one would hold twice as much plastic as the smaller even though it is probably more like it holds 50 percent (1 1/2 cups) more.
  11. Dean - Like it or not, advertising and not your 2 dollars per issue are NOT what pays for the magazine. You are just paying for the postage to mail it to you. Costs are continually going up so it is a necessity of staying in business to contain expenses and increase revenues. Advertising dollars are easier to increase than cutting costs because so many of the costs of producing the magazine are not in FLW's control. I don't hunt so the additional content will not be of interest to be either but since my financial situation requires me to go with the online e-zine for 5 dollars per year, I am grateful to get the content that I can get., even if it gets down scaled. Dave
  12. What company are you talking about?
  13. Two ways that are talked about on this site is either painting them or playing with multiple colors and glitter.
  14. Check this out in the want ads: http://www.tackleunderground.com/community/topic/18813-looking-for-soft-bait-company-to-make-my-lures/
  15. I will buy 2 if they are still available.

  21. I use an electric utility heater. It has 1300 watts on low and 1500 watts when on high and it takes the chill off of a 10 x 12 area in the basement. Some places call it a milk house heater. I paid around $20 at Home Depot last winter. It is listed at this website for $17.49. http://doitbest.com/Electric+Space+Heaters-Holmes+Jarden+Direct-model-PUH680-U-doitbest-sku-428256.dib
  22. First off, don't buy a quart. It will be gone the first day you pour. Second, read the stickies at the top of the forum. Third, do a search on swimbaits to get a flavor of what the TU members have learned about that style bait. Here is a sample search: http://www.tackleunderground.com/community/index.php?app=core&module=search&section=search&do=quick_search&search_app=core&fromsearch=1 cut and paste it into your address bar and you will be reading for hours.
  23. I know the real chunk could be used but it would be easier to start with a flat sided bait.
