  1. Weird attachment still doesn't show when it says it's already uploaded? Here's it
  2. Replaced. However the design has been upgraded
  3. Ya, even with same rpm, the furthest point of a lure from center is drawing a bigger circle. Speed = distance traveled in time. So the outer most past will be spinning relatively faster speed, hence more centrifugal force & far enough out, that might swing the epoxy out towards that end.
  4. Here's a Japanese one: Lure Craft
  5. Welcome aboard. I just got started on flyfishing so you'll have one that would bug you about flytying.

    Some Saltwater Flies

The Shrimp AAA, I can imagine it darting backwards with figure 8 retrieve and on the pause sinking with legs quivering just like a real one, way cool.
  8. I use dremel with a felt wheel plus plastic polishing wax, never said anything about carpet LOL Sanding with fine grit 300 and then use a "flame thrower" on the sanded part works too.
  9. Get well soon. And I sure would like to know how u did it:eek:

    Thanks LP!!!

You're welcome Tally old dog. But ya loose that ceder for carvings, u're a stubborn old dog too Carving looks okay for a 1st try, however the left/right symmetry is off, have u forgotten the template lessons? Although the lessons did wear me thin (on patience), I'm glad at least someone is making the effort towards an unlimited horizon in carved lures. Anyone who can bare with a teacher with acid tongue is welcome to bug me for lessons LOL. Tally old boy does shine in that department
  11. Not sure about the "it's okay if the base coat can scratch off bit". What we are looking at is good paint adhesion, I use lacquers all the time so acrylics I don't know. With lacquers there are plastic primers available that will bond to plastic and produce a bonding surface for the lacquers later. They DO NOT scratch off period. If something scratches off, I'd say reexamine ur paint procedure, something is wrong.
  12. I have a pic of the can here Name is Urethra 88, haven't use it for a long time though since switching to Swede's probinate stuff. I'll see if I can get more info for u when I got to the paint shop.
  13. It's 1 part, dip and hang.
  14. Don't know why u are looking for that but if you go to auto paint shops there's lots of substitutes available which I think are much better product with the advancement in polymer science. A product l like is urethrane primer and comes in white too. Fills voids and cures to a pretty hard surface, much harder then nitro stuff. Very good adhesion too.
  15. Welcome aboard mate. I have a soft spot for Aussies as I was in Sydney for 3 years (long time ago lol) Someone from downunder posted about source for soft plastic material in here b4 the website crashed lost datum. If he reads this I'm sure he'll clue u in.

Thanks guys. I enjoyed doing that lure; I'll have to thank the gang from TU who provided help for me to get that done. I wonder where is Tally's comment, he's practicing LaPickyness too these day Cheese, hmmm think crank, maybe there'll be a tail out version sometime
  17. That will depend on what u plan to make. Scroll for more intricate cuts of smaller baits (<4"?) Bandsaw will make light work of cutting simpler curves and can cut stacked (thicker)

  21. Don't forget the first page of this website too http://www.tackleunderground.com/index.php
  22. Wet sanding is not required but it would keep the epoxy dust down. Epoxy dust belongs to the "might" kill you gang.
  23. Oops it is anonymous FTP and works okay with FireFTP on Firefox for me. I'm afraid I can't use TU pdf attachment for the file as it's 6.5MB If anyone wants it shoot me an email, I'll forward it along, just clear up enough space in ur email account o accept 6.5MB lol.
