  1. once burned twice shy. a lot of good stories guys.. its no different in canada. rubber cheques and stolen ideas. its a cruel world. one thing i have never done and never will is steal and copy.

  3. question guys. whats the best primer for your foamies. anybody use a lacquer base. im considering of getting an aluminum mold built for bodies.. i plan on 16lb
  4. fat fingers we mostly troll but casting is very good in spots. as for baits. we troll cranks that run shallow in spring and summer.. as for casting larger spinner baits and jerkbaits on the far east end of lsc and lower detroit river. theres many 50 inchers to be caught.
  5. i go to the dollar store and buy plastic shooter cups. they have increments to measure. 40 cups for a buck. ya cant go wrong

  7. i fish in canadian waters. im based in windsor. belle river is the centre of l.s.c. the thames is good for fall muskys, into the lake in the summer. we fish walleyes in the spring run jigging, summer drift tubes for bass and troll for muskies, my favorite. average year on skies is in the 200 range. border crossings are easy, higher u.s. dollar value and real beer

  9. fatfingers ya gotta come up to the soth shore of st clair. its a good testing ground for muskies
  10. nice jon guy. theres several versions. yours looks good.. i do ine differently no gereen on the back. your creme belly color is dead on.
  11. post a picture of the baits that cracked. it will be easier to determine, wood or plastic also.
  12. im in windsor ontario. the st clair currents gave the clue up. im a toothy critter fisherman.
  13. you have to be fishing the st. clair river. is that a good guess
  14. plastic baits can be cleares with different clears. devcon, e tex, circa. lacquerclear, even clear acrylic works well. it depends on the paints you use underneath

  17. . the only thing with lexan is it will become a little more briitle with freezing water such as 32 -33 degrees fareinheight. other wise its reall awesome stuff

    just 5 minute epoxy for me brett. im sure theres some guys here that know a few triks
  19. if you are painting plastic baits i use epoxy primer from basf. then art work, final coat is automotive clear as dupont 2500 plus, never had a walleye punture a bait though

  22. hi wantsome im a southern neighbor on the can side. i fish the toothy one on st clair. i love the bass too. cause they are feed for muskies. actually st clair is awsome in my opinion
  23. much depends where you locate the pull screw besides lip. inserting belly weight helps on some design as flat sided baits. i assume your trolling speeds are at 3.5-5mph
  24. hey brett have you thought of stainless tig wire. you can get it the thickness you need locally free if you know a welder to try it
