  1. mcdonald and white lacquers and enamels in flo. dynamic in eater, awesome. clear new lustre 55 and mcdonald acrylic clear
  2. we used to paint thousands of spoons. heres what we found. on plated spoons we used dupont 2500 plus clear. after applying they went into a home made lo bake oven for 7 minutes at 150 degrees on cookie sheets or on racks made of rabbit wire. they will cure in a few minutes rockhard readt to hook and ring. this has been the toughest we know to date for candy colors or painted. an exellent prime is white epoxy primer for the start. hope this helps you out on your adventure
  3. we now have one in canada, toronto area. my problem is the ma and pa shops suffer from the big box stores. at least ma or pa open at 5.am for bait license and info. just my 2 cents from the great white north
  4. wingsworld have you tried local restuarant suppliers. the usually have those products
  5. paashe h pattern for us. cheap, parts are available. we run up to 5 at a time. also try using baby food jars for painting. they work well and you just need the nipples from your smaller bottles

  8. i really appreciate it. i posted some time ago. i was told shortys, but as you know im always looking for a dependable hook supplier. being in canada sucks for hook pricing. normally we do our orders in january but due to product demand we sorta got caught with our pants down. we normally use three ought eagle claw 975 but right now beggars cannot be chosers. george woodieb8s

    you should use a good dust collector, cedar is probably the dustiest wood, a respirator is an exellent idea and a good blower system for paint. we use all of the above. even cutting on the big saw its airborne everywhere

    hi guys just thought i would try to help. red cedar is fine we make our baits from cedar. make sure you use a sealer first then prime. when buying wood check the end cut of the board. the growth rins will show. the tighter the rins the closer to the heart wood
