Can someone explain the crackle painting process? Trying to do a green-over-yellow crackle frog. I'd also like to have yellow side spots with black centers... What materials & paints do I need? Any way to do this with Auto Air? Thanks, Falcon459

Thanks all. After researching additives/pigments all night, I found what I need. As an aside, I did find what Yo-Zuri is using. A little pricey for me though. $1200 per kg. Ouch! Thank god you only have to mix it at 6%!!

Has anyone tried mixing powdered mica or powdered metals like bronze or silver into createx semi-opaques? Or does that only work with oils/acrylics? Thanks

Skeeter- You're onto what I'm trying to do. My problem is in trying to blend the metallic silver with the transparent purple...it isn't working. Am I looking at spending money for the powdered pigments? Thanks again.

Using Auto Air (or others), does anyone have information about how to blend custom metallic colors? Case in point: Metallic purple, metallic red, Metallic blue, etc. Any ideas????? Thanks in advance.

Just bought a VLSTPro and a Paacshe D500SR compressor... Any opinions on this brush/compressor? Any problems I might run into? Thanks.
