Some new paint jobs we made last month: Clear red / holographics over a Maria The First 70 Clear yellow over a Bomber 16 A sort of "Clears" over some Charutinhos/KV Clear pink over a Megabass DogX Clear pink over silver on a Daiwa Salt Minnow Peac ock-basses and snooks are going wild over here in the summer with this colors..........

Man, I'm using a paint for glass witch is realy a tinted "coat". My wife uses it to paint glass bootles in a "church window style" thing.

Rollo; Some of these bodies I got from a local luremaker here in Brazil. The others (like the Marias The First) are comercial lures witch I removed de original paint.

The picture doesn?t tell by itself........ Those are not scratches to the paint but WTP INC holographic tape............. The devcon did hold teeth quite well...... you can?t even see the damage, just fell with your nails...........

Thanks again to Husky for the help...... This is my second 16 lb. foam type bait. First fished....... Great results, tuff as anything I?ve already tried. There is a fish here in Brazil called "traira". Big teeth..... nervous animal. It usualy puncture platic baits, cut worms and grubs apart with one bite and just destoys balsa. Got six sunday afternoon... Medium size 2-3 pounds .... The bait is intact..... Also follows a traira?s mouth pic.........

I?m with husky..... Since I followed his instructions and found the correct point of his "magic" formula, I never used anything else. I?m happy with 2 dips for wood (balsa or cedar) and 3 dips for foam...... A very important point is to let the bait settle for at least a day and light sand them prior to the next dip or paint........

Working with foam is just great....... Keep the imagination pushing and you will get great results..... I?m doing something simillar...... First I started gluing a plastic straw filled with bbs onto the wire...... Now I?m actualy putting the straw inside de mold with one of it?s end facing the mold wall. This leaves me an open chamber so I can put bbs, add and position ballast or even leave it hollow to get more boyanci. For tests, just close the open end with tape....
