you can use bondo to make your mold. it does pretty good but you have to pour in small quantities and let it cool off some because it starts getting soft when it gets hot. i have several molds made from it and its very simple to do.

[not real sure what the exact name of the stuff is but i do know its very expensive. a pc 24" x 36" will run you $300-$500 depending on who you get it from i have a friend in nashville that works for a company that supplies powder coaters with paints filters and all that stuff and he cant get me a better deal on it.

i use a pc of an aluminum arrow and a practice tip. it is about 6 inches long and you can roll about 25 collars on it the use a pc of wire to pull your tabs in roll the collar off nad your done. got mine at an archery store here in town.they have pcs of broken arrows and didt charge me for the one i have and the tips are cheap too

i buy my glitter at hobby lobby. i mix it with clear and i dip my baits in whatevr base color i want then dip them in the clear with the glitter

i use a piece of an arrow and a practice tip. you can use whatever length of an arrow you want to hold as many collars as you want. then all you have to do is pull your skirt into the arrow witha pc of wire and roll your collar off. the archery shops around here have plenty of broken arrows and tips you can get for little or nothing

try the spike it blade dip. works pretty well not sure how long i will hold up but looks good on blades and plugs

i have made sveral fluid beds and the aquaium pumps are actually more air than you need. on certain colors i have to turn the air down so they are not blowing out of the cups, the membrane in the bottom of your cup is what determines how much air is getting thru. it cost me $35 to make the whole thing but i got a pc of the membrane for my cups from a chemical company here in town. the fluid membrane is expensive but it works awesome

i modified my do it mold to take a fg 30 weed guard and flat eye hooks not that difficult to do.

dip your wire in your lead pot and get alittle lead on it not much. then it will stay in palce and after you pour it the lead will scrape right off

hey ted i used a 3/8 brad point bit to drill my hole then screwed my pc of copper pipe into the hole then screwed the valve onto the pipe no need to thread it

theres a local company here that builds machinery for other businesses they build a huge fluid bed for a company and had some left over i got it from them. full sheets are pretty expensive i have a friend that works in powder coating up in nashville and only suppliers he has are around $260 for a 2 x 3 sheet

got all my supplies to build my beds at lowes except for the aquarium pumps got them at walmart. cost around $35 to make each one

living rubber is still in business have thier latest catalog they have brown but not like the old stuff. dont think they make it anymore. they have frog hair and round

hey ted i used pvc glue it worked fine have made several beds of my own no problems any ? give me a yell chuck

i have modified several of my molds using jb weld. dont have any problems with any of them. instead of using a dremel you can use a good set of needle files. they come in assorted shapes and work very good for the hook groove. also like you said once the stuff is cured i take a good file and file it smooth on the mold face so i dont get any flash. i havent had to repair any of my molds that i have modified yet. i tried devcon to start with and once your mold gets hot the stuff melts but never had that problem with jb weld.

protec makes a smoke paint its kind of gun metal gray with some different color glitters in it got some here somewheere but cant find it at the moment

i use a file and sometimes use a razor knife

use testors model paint or finger nail polish both are available just about everywhere

i use a 28 wire for my nitetime spinnerbaits works great and thumps like crazy

my almost chatter baitis still selling well here and it keeps catching fish. i fished the bfl last saturday and won the co-angler side with 15-11 and won big fish with a 5-13. before i left the tourney i had orders for 200 more so i will be busy in the weeks ahead

mine is not a knock off and i wont quit til they quit sellin this is my own mold and my own blade so i wont quit dont care where they are sold

its not in the hook eye the hook in the bait is a spinnerbait hook and you use a pc of 41 wire that sticks out of the head then you use round nose pliers to make the loop and attach the blade dont loop the wire b4 you paint it its a bitch to clean paint off after you have looped it
