  1. Had 2 Tion Spinning reels that I bought 2 years ago while working at Gander Mountain. Seemed like a great reel, hell i pushed them on tons of customers and sold a ton of them.. Within on season both of my reels damn near discentegrated in quality. All the trim rings on one feel off all the lettering was gone and it became increasingly stiffer to reel, and the other seized up comepletely. I never even bothered taking them apart as I know it was no external corrosion that caused this. I keep all my reels in a case when not using them and when they are on rods they all have covers. I was disgusted with the results I had with them. Pflueger is no longer an interest of mine, but I wish you the best of luck with yours.

  3. As in to make a 2 part mold used say resin for the base let it cure then flip it and coath the heck out of it and use plaster on the top half to create a 2 part mold? What effect would this have? and am i jsut rambling on about something useless because im tired lol Anyway just a thought Secondly what about a 2 part resin mold with aluminum foil coated in vaseline to create the release agent? You would just have to cut the shape of the worm out in aluminum foil. I saw someone emntion of trying saran wrap but no message of if it worked or not. How can you make a successful 2 part resin mold? Any info wouild be appreciated! From the ramblings of a newbie
  4. Yes they seem very reminiscent of the Producto Worms that I pour..(God i love those baits) I also am in the process of a prototype thats is very similiar to your baits here (Though I doubt mine will look as good. At any rate A1 job and heck ID buy em if i saw them!
  5. Has anyone actually laid their hands on one of these NEW LT series rods. I want to know what the blank quality is and if they are as sensitive as the originals. I know they say they are the same, but I just have a ahrd time beleiving it after my experience with some of their new S_B series rods (they felt like broom sticks)
  6. I have tried the neweer Daiwa rods and personally I think that the quality is no where near its earlier days. Just a personal opinion.. ON a Side Note want to sell that TD rod that gets "little Use"
  7. Does anyone offer a 7'6" flippin stick blank preferrably telescoping? lookin to replicate a rod i used to have that was manufactured..but havent found anyhting close to it since..(older TD LT Denny Brauer) Id like to have the satisfaction of making a rod of my own thats better than the one i miss..Was one of the purple/silver lt rods
  8. Anyone other than me tried this? When you flour your saly wither add some garlic powder or garlic salt..In SMALL AMOUNTS it works quite well and have had good success. Also have used white pepper for grins..has a scent and is no more color tainting than salt...Just a thought..maybe im an idiot lol
  9. Thanks alot guys i appreciate all the info! One thing i can say is with my dislike for these molds i did now start making a few of my own and honestly my resin stik mold is miles ahead of the one i got from lure craft. I am however happy overall with my lure craft molds. Im in the midst of makin a producto copy out of resin so im hoping that one comes out as well as my others. Producto is one of the best paddle tails ive ever used! and ive got the color and scent down now to make them almost exact to the packaged ones. Man im glad i found this site... IM HOOKED
  10. Is it possible to pull a glossy lure from these molds? I know everyone will tell me to buy metal ones ...I am just wondering with the 4 i have is it possible?
