OK guys problem solved! At first it was the airbrush that was clogged up. While trying to fix that problem I got a new rubber o ring and it caused the head to be loose. Thats why the thing was driving nuts. Thanks for everyones help without you guys I would have probably never figured it out.

Sorry guys I guess I should have told you I was repeinting plastic baits. It seems to do it after the baits have been really hot. I thought maybe the baits themselves were expanding causing the problem. How many coats of etex do you guys usually put on your baits. Ive been trying to put it on really thin so I dont change the action of the bait. Thanks again for all your help.

OK guys soaked me main part of the brush over night in acitone. Then ran a pipe cleanter thru it and put it back together everying seemed to be going well untill I put the needle in. Then pulled the trigger. It still blew the cap off of the paint cup. I also tried cleaning it with testers airbrush cleaner. Any other ideas or something more spacific I can check for a blockage?

Thanks for the help guys! Ill have to try running the pipe cleaner thru it to see if that helps. Ive always just soaked it and everything was fine.

Ive rn acitone thru the brush and taken it apart and soked it. How long would it take to clean the paint out?

Im having a problem with etex I hope you guys can help me sort out! I mix the parts by weight and stir well using a paint brush handle. I get good coverage and usually only put on one coat. Everything looks good but after some time the clear coat gats some big nasty cracks in it! I can post pis if you need to see. Im using wasco water pased paints. Anyone else have this problem and if so how did you fix it?

Hi guys I have an iwata hp-cs, Im using wasco water based paints and im having a problem with bubbles in the cup. I thought the paint may e to thick but it has the bubbles with water or anything else I put in the brush! What is the problem and the best way to clean the Brush?

The problem seems to be with the wasco water based when I coat it with rust-oleum crystal clear enamel.

I'm having a little problem with my crankbaits. I'm using water based paints and a spray enamel between layers to paint my baits. Everything is all good untill I get to the stripe on the back. When I clear over it something happens to my paint. Sometimes it seams to eat almost all of it away and other times it just messes up the feathering on the edges. What can I do to fix this? I have already made a few molds out of Bondo, and have found it fairly diffifult to work with. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on working with Bondo or another medium to make molds of. Thanks in Advanced. Brett

I'm looking for stainless steel wire for my spinner baits. Does anyone know where to purchase the wire, or what type of wire do you use to make your own spinner baits? I tired Home Depot and my only other option are Mom and Pop type stores, any hints?

I would like to design my own heads for spinnerbaits and jigs. I have read about how to make the molds out of bondo. But what can I use to build the head to make the mold from? Any ideas and also how do I get both sides of the head the same? Thanks in advance Brett
