thanks.i found the netting from jans and stamania to small ( string size). so i use the netting that onions are packed in. works great and we use alot of onions. -
yea it's 3 1/2" long.i found a really cool tool for making the grooves. i think it's called a dovetail cutter.it's made to use on a milling machine, but it works good on a drill press with a cross slide vise. had to make a jig for it too.i wish tu had a place here where members could trade our works of art.thanks for the comments. -
this is the bigger version of the " lil bug".for when the bass want a larger meal.twich back and forth on retrive.makes all kind of noise from the cuts and big prop.i haven't caught on it yet but i'm still chunkin.can't catch em from the house huh?

this wood bait is 2.5" long.it floats at a 45 degree angle.works great.kind of like a top dog but with a whole lot more action ( splash).made the colors bright to use at night.

just finished. all top water.the bass just as well come out with their fins up.(hopefully) ha ha. gonna have fun with these. thanks for any input. -

hello folks. I'm glad to find a site that shares my hobby. I'm 40 years young, from south Louisiana. been building lures for about 3 years.
