  5. Bears Baits has now added scent to his business. All his scents are clear so they can be added to white and pearl baits without messing up the bait color. No more anise only on whites and pearls. Saint.
  6. His customer service has always been crappy. I am sure he is fine. Saint.
  7. I am going with Mike on this one. You suck up your plastic and shoot the mold. shoot the remaining plastic (if any) back into the pyrex. Pop off the nozzle and put a new one on. Then suck up more plastic and shoot the second mold. By now the first is cool enough to demold. Clip off the tops and move on to demolding the second mold. The thing that takes the longest is remelting the sprues, but that is the same with either injected or poured. Saint.
  8. Molds are sold. Thanks. Saint.
  9. Hand Pourjected . I love it. Saint.
  10. I have three 4" molds for sale, 2 of which are injected (but can also be hand poured)and one that is a hand pour. However, I inject the hand pour as well. These are Bob's molds. The hand pour mold does have some words in the tail, but I have filled it with JB Weld. I am asking $110 for all 3 or $40 a piece. I will pay the shipping if you buy all 3. Let me know if you have any questions, or email me for pics. saint@alchibaits.com. Saint.
  11. So the answer is yes. Got it. Thanks. Saint.
  12. Jim, you have been doing this a long time and are pretty good at it. You have always answered any question I asked and I appreciate it, but this has become a goofy thread. Maybe we should just agree to disagree.
  13. So, some of us make baits that are hand poured and some that are injected. Do we need two sites? I don't think the customer cares if it was injection poured with our feet, as long as they catch fish. Just my thoughts.
  14. It says that I can make 22 more posts until 04 November 2009 - 02:39 AM, what does this mean? Saint.
  15. Clemmy: good post, however just becasue you have a color chart does not mean you can't be custom. If someone asks me to make them a watermelon/red stick, but they want it to fall slow. Then I make it for them with less salt than I normally use...I would consider that custom made. Would that not be true? Saint.
  16. A drop or so of white, some pearl powder and MF liquid pearl should do it. Saint.
  17. What if I am making a laminate and I hand pour the bottom, then close the mold and inject the rest? Do I then need to label them half hand poured and half hand injected? Saint.
  18. Sorry, no experience with netcraft. Wish I could have helped you. Saint.
  19. What brand plastic are you using? Saint.
  20. Good looking Dak. Keep doing what you are doing the way you are doing it. Saint.
  21. My point was you can try them and you will know very shortly if you like it or not. If not, you will have no problem getting rid of them because there is virtually no supply in the secondary market. Saint.
  22. At the risk of sounding like a "cheerleader" I will say that I am extremely happy with my injection products from Bear. I have yet to have an accident with them and have poured quite a few baits. The O rings have not been an issue with me. Jim: If you try them and don't like them I am sure you can sell any injector and molds from Bear without a problem. You can see the 2nd hand market is flooded with molds but very few if any are from Bear. You can also call him as he is not afraid to answer or return a call in a timely manner. Just my opinion.....better late than never I guess. Let me know if I can you at all. Saint.
  23. There are some injection videos on Bear's site. I have done both hand pouring and injection and I think each have their place. If fumes is a major concern for you then I would look hard at the injection. Yoy can fill your injector with plastic and you won't have fumes except for the pyrex/pot that is holding your plastic, but you can put that well away from where you are pouring, Whereas, hand pouring would involve you being next to the open plastic the entire time. A respirator should be a must for you if you are that concerned. Saint.
  24. I pour black with blue flake then add some blue hi lite. Saint.
