  1. Right on Dutch. That's about it.....at least for me. Saint.
  2. Thanks. I just did a search and found an earlier thread. I saw that predator had a pretty cool setup. Can you post pics of your setup? I just sent the link to my father and brother. They are the real mechanically inclined ones in my family. Hopefully we can come up with a plan to build one. Saint.
  3. Harley: Do you have to use something like a drill to continuosly stir the plastic. If so, what are you guys using? I am real interested in this idea. Thanks. Saint.
  4. Yep, MF regular. That reminds me....I need to order some more. Saint.
  5. I think it may either be the bottle was not shaken enough. It may also be that I reheated it too often and it started to fade. They have been laying out on a pan in my kitchen. No oils or sunlight have touched them. I know for sure it is not the colorant. Thanks. Saint.
  6. Got them at big lots 5 for $1.50. Thanks guys. Saint.
  7. Has any of you had any experience with the colors changing after you pour. I poured some watermelon seed frogs the other day. They had a nice green color to them when I poured. However, now they have more of a greyish blue look to them. Not all turned this way some are still good. I poured about 5 batches or 30 or so frogs. The formula I used was: 24 dels light watermelon 4 dels black 4 oz. mf ss I will see if I can get some pics showing the difference. Thanks. Saint.
  8. Dang, I was just by big lot. I am glad you told me they have them. I will pass by there this afternoon. Thanks. Saint.
  9. Thanks guys. I may do the lowes thing. I will only need abot 10-20. So it is worth $5-$10 to just walk in and walk out. Thanks again. Saint.
  10. I am looking for new ways to store my baits. I have a huge pegboard in my garage that I would like to hang my bags on. However, I am having some trouble finding the long hooks like you see at reatil stores. Does anyone have any idea where I coyuld find these. I am looking to buy from a store not online. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Saint.
  11. do you have a pic of this color
  12. Watermelon (This is what I use for wateremlon red) 4 oz MFSS 20 Dels Light Watermelon 4 Dels Green Pumpkin 2 Dels Black This is what I use for watermelon seed (a little more green) 4 oz MFSS 18 dels light watermelon 2 Dels Black Hope this helps somebody. Saint.
  13. If you are using a one piece, just pour your bottom color first and wait a bit, then pour your top. With a 2 piece, seperate the mold. Then pour your bottom color. Put the mold back together and pour like you normally would. Saint.
  14. My recipe is: 4 oz MFSS 18 drops del light watermelon 2 drops black 1.5 TBS diamond salt. medium and small black flake to taste
  15. Costa Rica. By far the best trip I have ever taken. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Saint.
  16. I have been away on vacation for the last week. I just wanted to give you guys a peak at the fish my wife and I caught on my hand pours. Okay...maybe not on my hand pours, but here are the fish anyway. I can now check billfish off of my list of fish to catch. I know this is not realted to pouring, but I thought a few of you might find it interesting. Saint.
  17. I would suggest buying the kit with a stick mold to learn. It is easier in my opinion to learn on stick. There are plenty of used brush hog molds you can pick up once you get the hang of it. Saint.
  18. It all depends on how much business you are doing. Lurecraft has bags and a bunch of other places. I don't do much, so I use lurecraft. Saint.
  19. Yep. The bottom is flat, but still a two piece. Pretty cool hunh. Saint.
  20. Depending on each person's monitor you will get varying answers. I think IMHO it is pretty darn close. I compared it to a Zoom finesse worm. Saint.
  21. Kage: it depends on how much salt you add. Yes, salt will make the bait harder. It is a good idea to buy some softner. At some point in time you are going to use it. You see, you never stop with just one mold. You keep buying different molds for different baits. Eventually, you will buy a mold and find a formula that requires softner. As for MF SS, that is my plastic of choice. I do not use any softner with it. Saint.
  22. I have been fooling around trying to match Zoom's chartreuse pumpkin. Here is what I came up with. I really like this color. Thanks. Saint.
