  1. Candy thermometer or infrared temp gun works best. Saint.
  2. I am thinking about buying 5 of the 4 inch versions. I want a simple swimbait, not one with inserts. Anyone have any comments on these or anything else that is similar? Thanks. Saint.

  7. I use MF super soft with salt to make my worms that sink (trick worms). For my floating worms without salt, I use MF regular. Salt will make any plastic harder. You can also buy softner to put in your plastic. I am not sure about cooking oil, but who knows. Just make sure you wear long sleeves and glasses. Saint.
  8. Less cream and sugar? Sorry, I couldn't resist. Wish I could help you. Saint
  9. I have no idea what the deal is. I will just keep playing around until I figure it out. Jim, are you accepting pm's? Thanks. Saint.
  10. I use lurecraft rootbeer straight out of the bottle. Saint.
  11. I am just curious the temps you guys are pouring to fill the feet. It seems I need to read about 350 on my temp. gun to fill the feet. That is hella hot and I am concerned about fading colors. I was just curious what your thoughts were on this. Also, is the surface temp on the plastic the same all the through the plastic? For example, if the surface reads 350, is the bottom plastic 350 as well? Thanks. Saint.
  12. You said some were faded. Try to seperate them when you pour. For example, put the first pours over here and the re heats over there. See if any one group tends to fade, and post back. Saint.
  13. Are any of you guys pouring these out of a pot? Saint.
  14. I have seen somewhere that a guy was heating the baits a bit then rolling them in glitter. I can't remember where I saw the post. Saint.
  15. Remelt, and add more color. It will be fine. Saint.
  16. I am willing to bet 2 to 1 it is not the salt. It could be you cooked that particular batch too hot. I have watermelon fade every now and then if I over cook it. Whta color was fading? Saint.
  17. LC Strawberry with a little black here as well. I have also been known to throw in some LC Tomato. Saint.
  18. Yes, non-local people can actually see what you are selling. That goes a long way in my opinion. Saint.
  19. A camera. Just joking. Thanks, it is a sony cyber shot. I am happy with my color chart, but am still working on getting my othe rpics like I want. Saint.
  20. Hell of an attempt. If all the New Orleans Saints' attempts were that good we would still be playing. Saint.
  21. BBQ, I like BBQ. Can a cajun guy get an invite. Just kidding. Saint.
  22. Very interesting. Kinda looks like the flux capacitor. Anyway, good luck to you guys. Saint.
  23. Half the bait? To me that means that you are hitting the opening and clogging the spout before it fills. If only the top inch or so is hollow then you are probably need to keep the resevoir filled until cool. As the plastic cools it contacts pulling in the plastic in the resevoir. You need to keep topping off the resevoir until cool. Hope this helps. Saint.
