  16. lapala kbkindle here the stuff you are talking about sound like what iam looking for when i use the material from my body shop it is a two stage primer and i have had problems with its bonding with createx and takes about12 hrs to dry. want some thing in the lac base so it fills well and drys good and bonds well to createx ill have to talk to my paint supplier and see what we can come up with hey handles dupont. r&m. ditzler and ppg just thought you guys had a answer for the wood part of a crank not the metal part of a car body kb kindle the urethrane primer you talk about woud you know if it can be bought in the u.sa. what co. makes it if you would be so kind kb
  17. kb here trying to find a lacquer gray fill primer like we use to use on repairing cars back in the old times i know that most states have bannned the old nitro lacquer supplies but there has to be some one who still makes this product. does any body know where. i wish i had all i threw away at the time. they say you can still buy it because some of these guys that restore car want the original lacquer finish why i want it it fills any voids with just about one coat and you can shoot createx over it and it sands easy kb
  18. hey guys bobp and dampeoples thank you for the answer on iwata hp-b+ sound like what i want. have not looked at ebay yet but dixie air brush has them for $159.00 and no shipping charge thanks again kb
  19. kbkindle here i have looked at most of the air brushes and have come up with what i think i need for the job of painting fishing lures with createx paint i have a badger 175 now but it dont seem to be what i want it is more like i dont know how to air brush more than the brush i want a brush that dont put out a lot of paint at one time. i have tried regulating the air pressure but thats not it. it is not just smooth action. when i was in body shop you could buy a develibus ar any name brand for about $200.00 but i bought a couple guns made in germany for $700.00 a piece and they were as smooth as silk. but in the air brush part i have no clue as what to buy can you guys help me i know you guys that have been making and painting lures for a long time have bought more than 1 airbrush , till you get what you think is the best thank you kb (i have been looking at a iwata hp-b+ and there upgrades??)
