  1. Does anyone know of a light wire hook that will fit in the Do-It STL-8M-A round head steelhead mold? I bought this to use for flick shake heads but all the hooks I own the eyes are too tall to fit. I have no problem modifying the mold if I have to but first I thought I would see if anything fits? Allen
  2. I am looking for them as well and can only find 4/0. Allen
  3. I have some soft-titanium wire heads, they bend back but do not snap back if that makes sense. Allen
  4. This was my first thought but you should try the place in the link below. http://store.jobabylures.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=J&Category_Code=SKL Allen
  5. A lot of lead molds are spincast and not cheap. My custom spinnerbait mold was like $400 to make a master and one production. Allen
  6. You maybe able to use Almulite resin but depending on the shape I would worry about it locking into the mold? Allen
  7. The black bands work the best for me and they rarely break. The amber ones are more flexable but rot very easy compared to the black ones. As for the fishing skirts ones I do know the red bands will bleed on the skirt. I haven't had any break but I have not used them a lot as I wire tie most of my baits anyway. Allen
  8. http://www.captainhookswarehouse.com/index.cfm?page=detail&hookid=515&view=1 Closest thing I know of? Allen
  9. I have been looking for one myself to make some custom colored 3.5" beavers. The RI ones work great and I use a lot of them but they do not have certain colors like I use so I am forced to try and make some of my own. Allen
  10. I have some .035 wire myself but for production who wants to hand bend 100's of these? Allen
  11. http://www.polytek.com/cart/index.php?target=products&product_id=29887 Here is what I have (I had to look at the invoice) which is for low melt metals. Allen
  12. Just a FYI Do-It now sells these as I saw them on I think Jann's website. Allen
  13. Forgot about these? I actually have some I picked up on feebay that I never used. Allen
  14. They make high temp silicone that can be used to make lead molds. I have some but I have not made any yet as I am still working on my prototype. BTW spincast molds are all made of silicone so maybe one of the spincast guys on here could let you know what they are using? Allen
  15. 32886 is a 28 or 30 degree hook and I do not know of a comparable one made by the other manufacturers. Allen
  16. Alumilite works great but if you want it to float you have to add microballoons. This is what I use to pour RC 1.5 bodies and it works well but they are tricky to ballast. Allen
  17. Those are the ones I was talking about and I forgot about the ones Fatman posted. The same company that makes those swivels also makes one with dual barrels that I was wanting to try. Allen
  18. Everyone has there own version of the colors. Yamamoto GP is more brown than Zoom GP and I use those two as examples because of theier popularity. Allen
  19. They are really good to use with long tubes. Allen

If you just need a couple I can mail some to you? Allen
  21. Judging by the responses it looks like the manufacturer is still unknown? I will call Mustang and Battlefield this week to see about purchasing them. Since there will be a minimum order who else would like these? Allen
  22. There is another company that sells swivels similar in design to the Do-It ones. Unfortunately I was infected with a hijack virus so my favorites link was lost. What I do remember is there was a company that made these where they had two cylinder rolling sections. The link was one that someone posted here on TU as a supplier for swivels, etc. but it was a Non-US company. Sorry I couldn't be of more help but I will look around to some more. Allen
