The article you are referring to was by Mike Bucca aka Triton Mike. I have a printed copy somewhere? Do a seach on 2 piece molds and silicone for pouring lead. All 2 piece molds are the same you just need to find a material that can handle low melt metals. Allen

Imprinted or painted blade stamp? I ordered a imprinted one and just waiting on my IRS form number to get back so I will not pay the extra tax. Allen

You can use .035 wire as I use it all the time. Like Cadman mentioned usually you can go up or down one size at least with hooks. One thing to remember though is that all 3/0 spinnerbait hooks are not the same size. Mustad and Gamakatzu are the same size but owners run about 1 size larger. Allen

The two major manufacturers of wire for the fishing industry (that I know of?) are Mustang and Battlefield wire. Either can make custom stuff for you but there is a minimun. Allen

Do a seach for "foamies" or foam baits as there is tons of info on it. I made mine using Alumilite regular with microballoons added in a 2 piece silicone mold. Allen

1. Figure out how to make prototype lead baits? I have 2 spinnerbait, 2 buzzbait and a swim jig down on paper that I want to build. 2. Practice with the airbrush so I can at least paint basic patterns. 3. Build website showing the lures I make. 4. Try not to bother Chuck Vanover so much. Allen -
What kind of plastic? I poured some clear soft plastic spinnerbait heads so I could see where the hook and wire met. Allen

These are a different hook. I agree with you on the 32886 it is a flippin hook not a swimjig hook. What size 32724 hooks do you use? I have some 4/0 ones that seem like they are about 2 sizes too small? Most of the jigs sold as swimjigs are just flippin jigs with white skirts. Allen
