hey guys.... I stumbled upon an airbrush kit at Meijers the other day and thought about buying it..... It has a can of air as propelant, came with 8 different paints, and an airbrush for $25. It was half off, originally $50, and was in the model car section. what do you guys think? I am not going to spend aroudn $150 for a quality airbrush, as I only paint a few baits. I had been using spray paint to do just basic paintjobs,b ut owuld like to be able to get a bit more detailed.

no...i don't pour lead either. I will make skirts for jigs, and customize lures, and tweak spinnerbiats in my room.

alright, thanks. I guess I will just stick to making jigs ans spinnerbaits for now.

Hey, I am thinking about starting to pour my own soft plastics, and would like set up a little workshop in my bedroom, whers I already make jigs and spinnerbaits. Is there any smell involved in pouring my own baits?

How much money are we looking at for an airbrush? I am looking for a nice beginner setup that won't set me back too much money...incase making lures isn't for me. I do already have a small air compressor.

I am going to start making crankbaits. How are you guys painting the cranks that you make, and what paint are you using? Janns has an airbrush for $25....do you think it would work? Thanks
