Hi guys!!The foam is i used is the smooth-on 15lbs and i pay about 35 $can. for 8 lures!!!!And that stuff is not very solid!!!!the hooks was making some very big damage so that is not good for me!!!3 hours of fishing and the hooks as make a 1/8 grove in the lure!feather lite is much more solid!!!!So better for me!!!cheers.Dan

Hi husky,I pay about 40$can. for a 2.4lbs kit of feather lite and I can make 8 of my cranks,the foam is about 37$can. to make the same 8 lures!!!so for about the same price I have a much better product!!!It's like the legend and hooker baits,foam is to soft,fragile compare to the feather lite resin! Hi Pete!I dont use foam no more!!I use the smooth-on feather lite resin and it's much better!!!More durable and cost the same price!!So you sould try it,I like it a lot!!Makes nice cast,allmost no pin holes. Cheers,Muskydan666

hi!i use some ceatex paint some times and I have no problem at all!!I have a iwata eclipse and a badger 100 air brush.at first I add some trouble!!!Juste like you!The thing is that you need to thin the paint(some times)use less air,more air.......and the more important!!!!!practice,practice and practice...........Air brush is an art!!!You cant do everything right at first but whit some practice you will be able to make a nice paint job!!! hey!!!brave viper!!Now you got a point!!It is 4:07 am!!and Im still thinking about bait making!!!!LOL!!!that's not good!but i like it a lot and I past a lot of hours to do those musky cranks!!!!and i finaly have a very good and durable lure that can catch fish so it's a good thing !!!I can finaly sell a few and make some $$$out of it and i'm proud of those crank bait!!!!a lot of work and testing make some very good baits!!!cheers,muskydan666

Hi,I use some 5/8 glass eyes on my lures but they cost a lot!!!So I would like to swap for some plastic ones!Im looking for eyes like the loke lure,They look like there made of plastic??If anyone knows a good place to get some eyes please let me know!Cheers.Dan

Hi Guys!!!!Nice to have TU back!!I started using the smooth-on feather lite resin 2 weeks ago and it work very very nice!!!!Those who are using foam you dont know what your missing!no bubbles,it's like sanding wood!!!I like it a lot!!!it's also very solid,Icant say that about foam! just whanted to share that with you guys!so if anyone was wondering if that stuff was working!Now you know!!! Hi Mike!I also use the smooth-on foam-it 15 lbs and it work great!!there is some things that you have to know about foam!The room temp i very important if you whant to avoid bubbles problems,i ad that problem the first time I poured some baits and they dident came out very nice!To answer your question about the rtv,the consistancy is like treacle!!!very thick but it will fill all detail dont worry!!You have to mix it very well before pouring it as well. Good luck whit your project and if you need any help just ask and I will do my best to help you out!!artbrush and husky are the best here when it comes to foamies so if you listen what they have to say you will do just fine!!!!! cheers,Muskydan666 ps:I am sending you a few pics of my lures and mold so you could see what it look like!!
